Both my eagles and canes to lose every game? Weird existence for me right now. Anybody else in the "eagles/canes circle of life/death"?????

Me too brush. I am Redskins and Canes 'til death. Going to see my 'Skins in the ATL this weekend. Will be watching Miami-fsu at the Omni Hotel bar CNN Center. HTTR!!!!

Different situations. The NFC East is so bad that the Eagles can still easily win it and make the playoffs (assuming they get their **** together in the next few weeks). Bradford and that OL are a bad combo, though. The only reason to root for the Eagles to tank at this juncture is if you think there is a chance UM would go after, and land, Kelly. I don't hold that opinion. I'm flying up for the game Sunday. If they tank again vs. NO, I may come around to your point of view.

This is the one game I cannot root for the canes to lose. Al can and will lay a donut the rest of the season, but I can never, ever, ever root for FSU against miami. That said, I dont think we have a chance in ****
 
Im not rooting for a loss. But i have a sense of the potential good that comes out of one.

First time I've been emotionally flat for a caves game ever let alone FSU.

I knew 2 years ago AG want gong to be the guy long term but i still wasnt drained like i am now. Weird

That's the key, obviously. Eagles and Canes have something else in common- we won't tolerate a loser. Kelly has everything riding on this season. When he dumped all of that top-shelf talent with the zeitgeist that his "system" could work with anybody?-he was on the clock. Now, with every loss, the pressure is mounting (of course the pressure is mounting on every coach as they pile up losses, but those coaches didn't willingly give up their best players *rolls eyes*) and in Philly?-those people will run Chip's *** outta there in a heartbeat.

Now, if there is a football god, Kelly misses the play-offs again with an 8-8/7-9 record and they run his *** straight to Coral Gables. I don't know of any other top program potentially looking for coaches this cycle, as I am in the minority that believes Texas will not fire Strong after just 2 seasons.
 
Canes and Eagles here too. I am so torn on wanting the Eagles to do well or Chip Kelly being available.

But sadly even if Kelly was available, this Admin would find a way to ***** it up still. ****, Kelly could come to UM begging for the job and the BoT would ***** this up.
 
I'm a niners fan but I'm gonna root for the eagles. Keep Chip Kelly far away from Miami as possible. He's anti-swagger, would pass on a bunch of swagger-filled South Florida talent.

Ordinarily, I'd say we should give Kelly some slack because there are a lot of new players in the new system. One would think it would take some time to "gel," so to speak. But Kelly absolutely destroyed the OL. Skeptical they will be able to do much with that group. They might be better off with dirty sanchez, who, despite sucking most of the time, is at least decisive and can move a little bit. Bradford is slow and looks hesitant-two traits that won't work behind a Swiss cheese line. The next two weeks are critical.

There isn't a coach that makes more for University of Miami than Chip Kelly.

I'm not sure what's more ridiculous: You're assertion he wouldn't fit here, that he possesses anti-swagger (wut?), or that he'd pass on south Florida talent.

If Kelly returns to the College game, he would walk on coals to have access to the type of talent south Florida produces.

I get where you are going with this, but it's a **** of a lot easier to control a 17/18/19 year old superstar kid than it is to control a grown *** man with entitlement/god issues. "Can't teach old dogs new tricks". Kelly at UM would be filthy. Simply...filthy.
 
The beauty with the Canes is that you don't need to root for a loss. Golden will always find a way.
