so next year if perry aint the answer what yall gone say?

You can blame Rosier's disastrous ending on coaching, or you can look at who he was as a recruit and see that we have nowhere to go but up at that position.

LOL...since the time Rosier committed to UM, we've had 1 4* crash & burn (Olsen), a 5* who got beat out by a marginal 4* true freshman Summer arrival in Kaaya (Heaps), and a 4* who straight up quit this year (Allison).

It's people like you who think the HS & College game are the same who'll be the first ones to jump on Perry at the first sign of adversity.

And apparently you don't understand statistics, because if you did, assuming Perry gets the nod, there's a 50% chance Williams will NOT finish His career at UM.

we'll say relax he's a RS freshman. the interesting thing about next year, is if perry gets hurt, do we burn williams redshirt or go to rosier (if he says)

Burn the Jersey as an EE and have Weldon hot.

We have Shirreffs and Weldon, but more than likely will go to Malik if he's still around. No reason to burn a redshirt.

That’s Interesting...so which one of these QB’s were recruited by Mark Richt? Also do you believe he would’ve performed this well under Coley and Grolden?

so which one of these QB’s were recruited by Mark Richt?

None, but Richt's not oblivious to having His QB recruits not panning out for whatever reason. Remember, He needed a grad-transfer (Greyson Lambert) to salvage the QB position His last year at UGA...and He would've more than likely been starting a true freshman (Eason) if He stayed at UGA.

Also do you believe he would’ve performed this well under Coley and Grolden?

Small sample size, but Rosier performed well when He had to step in for Kaaya vs Duke, not sure how He would've fared against the rest of the schedule though.

Allison, four star ranking or not, was akin to Gray Crow and Kirby Freeman being ranked a four star. Allison was another Sitkowski essentially. I said then I would be shocked if he ever played a meaningful down here.

Richt and his future here is squarely on how this offense looks under Perry and company look. Whether he is the OC or not, there is no excuse not to light it up offensively with these two classes.

It’s hard for me to invision anyone connecting on less than 50% of their passes. Worst case 10 wins. And even if perry throws some bad interceptions if he can complete 58% of his passes we’ll be smoking teams.

Agreed. The old benchmark of good QB play was 60% completion percentage. In today's college game, a QB who can pick up the occasional first down with his feet can win at a high level with 55% completion percentage.

Are we gonna run to jarren williams quickly, do we say the offense is too vanilla let me know now

No one can predict QB recruiting. All you can do is recruit the best possible candidate from each class and let them compete and develop. Richt landed N'Kosi Perry in his first class and this kid for his second.

We need to find out if we have a QB. If Mark strikes out on both, we have a serious problem.

We are going to a top 5 team with 2 elite QBs in Perry and Williams . I love seeing UGA do well in playoffs as that is a sign of things to come as most of those guys are Richt's .

A wise teacher once told me, "Do not cast pearls to swine."
A wise poster once said, "check the join date before responding the trolls."
Join date = A few minutes ago = Troll = Swine.
But thank you to all the true Canes who smash weak troll game.

If Perry is not the answer, then the other kid had better be, or else we are stuck in QB limbo again. It's that simple. Although, if we can manage to get better OL play and a better run game by extension, even Rosier would end up looking better than he did this year. Guessing Perry will get the job, though, as he should have learned a fair bit this season.

Right now I'm more concerned about the OL.
