There are no "black only fraternities". Black frats much like traditionally black universities were created because they were not allowed to go to white schools or join white fraternities during segregation. There is no rule that says a white guy can't pledge a black fraternity nor any rule that says a whit guy can't attend a traditionally black university. I know a white dude who went to Florida A&M because they have a good architecture program. No rule against that.

In fact I got a picture with my white frat Bro that also served as our equivalent of President. Just because a person speaks to the wrongs another race or social group committed against them does not mean they hate their perpetrators. Unless it's admitted and addressed then progress can't be made. Ask alcoholics or addicts.

Racism is systematic oppression that's structured into politics, economic, and social institutions. Black people don't have the power to disenfranchise anyone based on race. Surely, they can be prejudice or ignorant just like anyone else. By definition, they can't be racist.

alabama football players are usually EXEMPT from this type of treatment. They LOVE their blacks running up and down the field, entertaining them, so they are treated differently and kept insulated from the black experience. This creates the charles barkleys and the michael jordans. As long as bama is winning AND paying, players are going to go there.

So Cubans can't be white?

And let's not act like the 1st generation of Cubans that came to America weren't racist. The 1st generation were the same people that kept blacks & mulattoes in the field, or doing other low level work. They were educated,rich, elite, and didn't give a **** about civil rights. They initially sided with JFK and voted Democrat. The pendulum swung to Republican after the failed Bay of Pigs invasion, where subsequently JFK bailed out on supporting them militarily. And the rest is history.

Also, I didn't see too many black Cubans protesting the whole Elian Gonzalez fiasco, or any other anti-Castro protests.
