So it is our fault...

I really don't like Herbstreit especially after his fake crying crap but dude spoke facts on Saturday. If facts make you feel disrespected and attacked well than that's a you problem and it's time for some self introspection.

Btw nothing hurts recruiting more than that performance against Michigan State.
Herbstreit pulls for the U!

What's really funny is he thinks he is being clever and slick. As if these are subliminal messages and we are none the wiser. Or by saying these things he is documenting them to be used as defenses during his trial and execution.

He honestly thinks he is smarter than everyone. But it also reeks of desperation.

IMO, this is the most damning thing in the whole piece.

Kirk Herbstreit’s comments actually helped. It put the spotlight on the powers that be at Miami. He forced their hand.

Its never his fault. Its either the players or the assistants, or the fans, or the recruits or the media, but its never him.

Diaz isn't an idiot. He knows what happens when a team greatly underperforms, in a very winnable division & conference, a team returning a boatload of starters, a fan base ****ed off, an alumni ****ed off, and now national media dragging his ***.

He knows what all that means. Coaches get fired.

But at UM - never quick enough.

The worst thing will be to come out flat and unprepared against uva and get stomped out on national TV while the conversation of the night is how Miami looks like *** and Manny's on the hot seat. Manny should just worry about things he can control. Be a ******* better coach of the guys you do have and the rest follows.
I mean this is pretty much guaranteed to happen.

The next time Diaz has his team coming out of the tunnel motivated will be the first time.

According to Diaz, if we fail in recruiting this year the blame is pretty clear:

As far as criticism from fans and media and former players, “players understand it’s part and parcel of being here,” Diaz said. “Same thing with coaching here. That’s what it’s like to be at a school with high expectations. If you don’t want that, maybe this is not the place for you to play or for you to coach.

“Our players understand being tight in the locker room; that’s where your chemistry comes from. We understand the expectations here. The important thing is we keep producing better performances here in the short term. The whole thing comes down to we can’t sabotage our recruiting by scaring our own recruits away. That’s the most important thing. The worst thing we can do is fear-monger our recruits away.”

Must admit this line did make me smile:

Diaz said Kirk Herbstreit’s commentary the other day made UM’s officials feel “a little disrespected and attacked.”
What an absolute joke. Diaz is like Saban except different. Saban wears pants, Diaz should be wearing a skirt. If his sensitivity level is above my wife's on a good day then he should probably put a tampon in and take two Tylenol. Geez, how did Beta Blake think it was a good idea to hire Beta Diaz?

Ah, so the solution for bad defense, offensive line, and wide reciever play is that fans need to shut up.

Let me tell you, I could block better than those guys. I'd get thrown out of the game the first play because of repeatedly kicking the defensive lineman in the crotch, but at least I got in front of the *******.

Manny Diaz, go **** yourself.
