So if we are in a “...complete rebuild....”

Here is the basic issue with hiring a coordinator off of a failed regime... HE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENTIRE DEFENSIVE SIDE OF THE BALL AND ITS CURRENT TALENT, DEPTH, AND CULTURAL SHORTCOMINGS. He cannot say it is a rebuild as head coach today without it being an indictment against himself as coordinator over the prior three years, and therefore as a candidate for this job.

Exactly!!!
So is he admitting he did a sh1tty job as DC recruiting for the defense???
So is he now saying he has to rebuild what he did as a DC?
He will just say anything at this point. Just like Golden used to do.

If our four stars worked and played as hard as Jimmy Murphy, we wouldn’t be having these conversations.
Lol this is always the excuse. Ain’t it amazing how we don’t usually see this with competent regimes. Where they have to play multiple walk-ons because the scholarship guys are sooo “lazy”. Besides Manny has been over half the team for 4years that ain’t a legit excuse.

Whoa. Leave Murphy out of this. Dude is the goods on ST. If we played half as hard as he does every play we would roll teams

Because during a rebuild you want guys to have eligibility later on while gaining experience in practice. If it truly is a rebuild then you redshirt as many players as possible and play the younger ones not redshirting. Also, Lingard requested to redshirt because he is not fully healed from his injury.

Is this a rebuild?

Why the **** aren’t we playing more guys? What’s the point of redshirting them? Give them experience. See who steps up when it counts.

Why the **** are you playing Jimmy Murphy and Ravioli and not Brooks and Lingard? What are you doing? Saving them?lmao. They can transfer whenever they want. Put them in the game. Diaz is in over his head.

Because were not really in a rebuild. Manny the gimmick is just trying to spin & deflect.

Yes, Manny needs time.
Time for what? The dude was saying before the season 7-6 is unacceptable, it can be turned around quick, miami can compete for the playoffs in 2019.

He gets exposed and now its a rebuild. He went out and got transfers because he felt the team had enough now to compete.

And he can't go into a rebuild because him or his staff isn't very good at recruiting. So it will get much worse before it gets better.

And if this job was a rebuild, why would you rush to hire a coach from the same staff that supposedly put us in the position of needing a full rebuild?
