So If Everyone Sucks at recruiting now...

My guess is that we were able to take advantage of the new early signing period last year. This year, the other schools have adjusted to the early signing period. It's showing.

A fluke season and two down in state in-rivals happened

I didn’t see nobody complaining about CMR’s recruiting though, matter of fact the only people that was getting talked about was the coaches on the defensive side. Now a year later everybody’s praising the defensive coaches. People on here acting like they predicted this below average recruiting class a year ago, like this is normal for CMR.

what happened last year? asking for a friend

We were winning and perception was still that Rosier was holding this offense back and that once he wasnt the starter Richt would open it up. Fans and recruits now know that to be false. This is Richt's real offense and there will be no changes until he's gone or forced to hire a OC.

THIS 100%. At the end of last year, most believed Rosier was holding this team back (me included). Then started thinking it was the OL and QB that needed upgrades. However, as the season went on everyone realized it's Richt, his son and OCs that are the biggest problem. NO one wants to play in this offensive, so they all jumped ship.

Richt could have made some moves after the season, fired most of the offensive staff for lack of production, hired an innovative coordinator, stepped completely away from the offense. This would have reignited the fan base and ultimately salvaged this recruiting class. Yet, what does Richt do? NOTHING!!! So, now we have 2 recruits on offense (no OL, no QB, and no RB) and will have the worst offensive recruiting class that I can remember.

What about the possibility that 5 was also, as a RS Fresh holding this offense back...🤯🤯

Weather right or wrong u know the saying. Twice is a trend. Even if you believe that it's all on Perry holding us back who was he handpicked by? No matter what road of reasoning you drive down to explain the current state of our program it all leads to Pastor Richt.

Can we keep it real...it was the #9 class in the country. It was good...but lets pump the brakes on claiming it was something to hold up as a standard in comparison to this disaster of a class. It wasn't like he was getting the #1 recruiting class in the country, which Randy did, FWIW. It was a nice, solid class after a good season...but to be fair, that class didn't finish particularly strong nor did it have the top South Florida talent as they for the most part went elsewhere.
