So....I was pulled over today

True, but we are better than last year. FSU is worse than last year. Plus, we won on a last second throw because our QB only completed a miserable 43% of his passes. If he was even average we wouldn't have needed the last second heroics.

Who’s to say we didn’t take them for granted since the qb was out? That’s quite common in cfb. You can’t tell me losing Francois and putting in a true fr stick didn’t give these kids over confidence.
 
Was up in Ichetucknee Springs a few years back with a group of buddies. We loaded up a cooler of beer, and were headed to the lazy river to float and drink for a couple of hours, not knowing that alcohol is strictly prohibited on that state park property

Some park ranger stopped us, and was on the verge of giving us all tickets/fines for open container until he saw me with a Miami tshirt and asked me if I went to UM...told him I absolutely did thinking he was a UF or FSU fan in North FL.

Guy ended up being a huge 'Canes fan and described how miserable he was living in Gator/Nole country. He let us go and let us keep our cooler of beer on the river.

Maybe the defense was overconfident, but that doesn't explain Rosier's horribly bad accuracy and poor decision making throughout the game. Again, if he completed passes at even a middling rate of 50-55% we likely would not have needed a last second win.

Hopefully no one goes into Saturday's game overconfident. Our players need to view this as a big rivalry game, with a goal of destroying them. Not walk in expecting a win.

I thought it was funny, out of all weeks to get pulled , and having canes gear on.

I'd be shocked if this is a blowout due to the rivalry nature but 1 of 2 things can happen IMO - UM wins a close hard fought game 23-17 or it starts out really bad for FSU and we destroy them 45-13 or something like that . Either is fine with me . Just win baby.

Oh crap, you lucked out. Nole and cane meet in gatorland ... you had a lot of mutual stuff going on. Most cops are cool if you don’t mouth off to them. They tend to be dangerous as **** when they feel threatened.

My worse experiences were in other countries. Got pitch off second floor of little country courthouse in Jamaica years ago. Short stout Sargent got my 260 lbs up and airborne like I was a rugby ball. Cleared the guard rail by a good six inches. Nice soft pile fine sand broke my fall. He was black and I’m white but it wasn’t a race thing. Him and the judge just didn’t like arrogant American attorneys. Later I apologize profusely and all was forgiven and I was able to fly home with my client in tow.
