So I made a sports bet.

After many years of not bothering to involve myself in sports betting, I got a sports book app that gave me a bunch of welcome bonuses. (Go gamble you stupid fish) So, there were ten welcome bonuses, but capped them off at $50 per bet. Well, I can make 10 small bets instead of one big one.

With these bonuses, it took the payout from 11:1 to basically 22:1 for Miami to win the national championship.

I am gonna let this sucker ride this year. Lets kick some ***!

I never bet on the canes games- did it once it was the worst game I ever watched/ torture back & forth we tried to give the game away to Gtech 4 times

But when I saw the odds 1300 to win the natty I bit… 100 to make $1300 wasn’t breaking the bank

I think of it like poker.

Once you put the money in, consider it already spent. You might get a lot back if the bet plays out the way you think, but if you don't, hey, its already spent.

Notre Dame, I'd be more worried losing because I HATE losing to Notre Dame, lol

Given my overall record with betting, I always avoid betting on my sports teams now. Not even futures. I’d be a curse

During the offseason, I've had a pretty good run in terms of betting. My late season bets for the Canes during the playoffs paid off enough to cover my 4 season ticket renewals, parking, and then some. If we had hit the Natty I probably had 20k or more coming home. Fortunately I had other bets that still paid for the Natty but...I missed the Grail.

But in the offseason this year, what I've done is steadily reinvested my profits in hockey or soccer into fresh bets for the Natty or variations of Playoffs/winning ACC. By doing it this way, I'm dropping a hundy or so at a time, and it's profits ... and it's just a slow buildup. Set it and forget it. If we bring it home this year it's gonna be a wonderful thing.
