So how'd that kayaa in the shotgun work out for you?

People making stupid statements about other teams.....if you are going to make comparisons at least know what you are talking about. Briles offense is a run first offense...they run the ball more than pass and its not even close... And that system relies on a mobile/running QB...hence they dont recruit pocket passers. WHich i dont understand why RIcht is running this type of offense with a slow footed QB

I have absolutely no stats on this, but honestly seems like throws over middle of the field have worked 95% of the time. Maybe a few times it didn't work was on a receiver drop. Yet we seem to throw over the middle maybe 5 times per game. I don't get it.
 
The deep ball to Njoku would have been a TD if he didn't trip over the grass. The deep route to Coley in the endzone was nearly a TD. So I don't necessarily have a problem with throwing deep. The problem is we seemed to go to that well too often in obvious passing situations and did not adjust to counter the blitz. We ran one screen to Coley on a blitz and it went for big yardage. No idea why they never went back to that play. There is just no rhythm to this offense.
