So how many of you are watching tonight..

Game comes on at 0200 out here in Iraq, but i will be here trying to find somewhere to stream/watch the game with my canes shirt on.

Do you have a reading comprehension problem? I said back to the basics, meaning we lean more heavily on what we know we do well and less stretching of the players and playbook. When we don't get cute with coverages and don't over emphasize too many zone blitzes, we are pretty fundamentally sound defensive football team. When we get cute and put guys in space that normally aren't you see the breakdowns we saw the 1st 2 games. That's what I'm saying.

I'm not totally sold on Duke's defense. I'm also not goingto concede that Manny Diaz forgot how to coach defense. Statement game. D comes to play and Rosier lights up a sad Duke secondary.
 
Should be a balanced attack. Walton has 125+ yards on the ground and a TD, Homer gets a score on a swing pass out of the backfield, Rozier throws 3 scores to Berrios, Cager and Homer. AR could add another but we'll see how they incorporate him in the first game back. Kicker gets his own on two FGs. Finally, a pick 6 from the D. However, still some issues in the backfield on D results in dink-dunk ball by Duke to keep the 1st half tight. Duke will play hard but it won't win them the game.

Getting primed for the game by watching the Presidents Cup Match.

I don't think this will be an easy game by any stretch so I will take a victory by 1 or 30 doesn't matter.Will be interested to see what adjustments Manny has made on defense and if We open the game on offense with the first half dull *** play calling or the second half loosen things up playcalling.

Just give me a W....don't care how.
 
@5X's- The Gronk affect. Richards should open things up for others. At this stage of the season I just want a "W". By 1 point will work, by 30 would be nice. Since the early 2000's every game has seemed like a roller coaster ride. I felt comfortable during the Nebraska game... Then I felt ill. Until they prove otherwise and start mauling teems, a win is a win.

I'm not sold on Puke's defense either. But I am sold on their QB, who is the 2nd best QB we will see this year. Combine that with our Swiss cheese looking defense, and I think we're going to need to score a lot.
 
im utrrently in saudi arabia. have to stay up until 2am for this game to start. ill do whatever it takes to watch my canes DOMINATE!!!
 
Hopefully tonight is this year's App State game.

For that to happen we have to come out on fire, which has been a major problem thus far under CMR.
 
anyone thinking we lose tonight should change their tampon and find a women's ice hockey team to root for.

I can't get a feel for this game at all, other than we win.

Too many unknowns, we've only played 2 games against inferior competition, with plenty of flaws to keep the message board busy.

Wouldn't surprise me if we win comfortably, wouldn't surprise if it's close and we win by a score.

either way, as soon as the game is over, I don't even care to give it a big postmortem, I want to get right to FSU

You do realize Baylor lost to Liberty and might go 0-12 this year and that UNC, who is 1-3, will be hard pressed to win more than 4 games, right?

You do realize Baylor lost to Liberty and might go 0-12 this year and that UNC, who is 1-3, will be hard pressed to win more than 4 games, right?

Hadn't realized they were that bad. That's good news if it means that Dukes defense sucks. Baylor did put 41 up on #3 Oklahoma and UNC put up 35 on Louisville. Neither could muster more than 20 against Duke. There could obviously be a myriad of reasons for that.

But yeah, Dukes competition wasn't what i thought at first glance.

I expect the tobacco road refs to do their part again, especially after 2015.

At least 2-4 b.s. holding calls, 1 bs targeting, at least 2 pi, 2-4 unsportsmanlike....
