I like that score. However, if we give up the 24 people will still criticize Manny and the defense. I am hoping to just see the team take a step forward and get better from the last game. I will have my eye on a few players individually to see how they respond and I expect they will, they are all competitors. Should be a good one to watch over a few cold ones and some scenic views at Twin Peaks. Cheers to you for a great game tonight!
 
I'll be watching hoping we beat them down. I don't want to see things that we are doing wrong, because I take no pleasure in talking about them. For example, if I see the slot WR uncovered all night, I will probably say, "What the **** are they doing?" Does that make me a bad fan? No.
 
I'll be watching Dee Delaney and Travis Homer and I want to see what difference Ahmmon makes.

Duke has played Baylor and UNC and still have the #11 defense. It might be legit. Throw in the fact that its at their place and that they're eternally ****ed at us over the lateral winning play, I think the score will be closer. Miami 35-24

I'll be watching the game being called on O and D. Talent wise we are superior.
 
I think Malik makes an impact in this game with his ability to run. UNC's QB kinda gashed them with his running. I also don't think they can stop Walton running a 4-2-5 Defense. I'm curious if Duke sticks to that all game or not.
 
It would be kinda hilarious if the defense was the one who showed up tonight and the offense struggled a bit.
We win a game like 20-10 and everyone here will be changing the narrative to "if we play Offense like that against F$U we are going to lose!!!!!"
We will be hearing that all week long.

Rosier will be a key factor running the ball, to open the passing lanes. It will be close for a little, but the Canes will be triumphant.
I say 55- 23 Canes... idc if I'm a homer.... we make a statement tonight.

I'm pretty interested in how the defense gets called tonight too. I've been slow to give Diaz a hard time because I felt like he was feeling his way around against BCC and Toledo. Its game time today. And Duke is good enough that we probably shouldn't be holding anything back.
 
whether richards has a "big" game or not, he's gonna draw attention opening things up for our other wrs to make plays.
 
Funny, Duke fans are saying the exact same thing...they're going to make a statement tonight. One went so far as to say Miami won't be able to handle their defense team speed.

That and eliminating the drops could be a big difference.

I anticipate a big difference in the team overall now that they're kind of back to normal.

Actually, outside of one half of football, our O hasn't been world beaters. We will need to call a good game to beat Duke.

i think we put it all together tonight and win rather easily. we are healthy on O. big game for walton. i think richards maybe has a quiet game but our other wrs have a big game due to the attention they pay richards.
 
I have much respect for Cutcliffe as a coach. He's one of those guys that make the sum more than the parts. Man for man UM s#its all over the players at Duke. Trying to outscheme him won't work. This will be an our guys are better than your guys game. I think our defense feasts tonight. Rosier stat line wont be all world ~250yds passing but he'll keep the ball out of harms way and keep moving the sticks. 30 runs 30 passes type of game.
