So how do we get Al and his BFF to go away?

Build an elementary school next to their offices and just wait for nature to take its course.

Can't be 6-8 wins. Over that he leaves for better job, or any other job for the matter. Less and Fake James has to can him. He won't last another offseason probe.

Disagree with your first sentence...it's easy to assume that just because a bunch of ****ing idiots make up our administration that many other schools suffer from the same affliction.

I assure you...what we've had running this program and making decisions for the last decade are made up of world class morons. Golden winning more than 8 games isn't going to net him a "better job"....most other human beings making decisions at other programs with some semblance of intelligence are going to look at our schedule this year and know what's up. He won't get a better offer.

So to correct your sentence, "better than 6 to 8 wins" gets him a lifetime deal at the University of Miami and a statue somewhere near the on campus food court. Take it to the bank.

ROOT FOR LOSSES. PERIOD.
He will leave. He was trying to leave before. I'm sure a mid level school like BC could get him. He be like George Bush, *** y'all I'm out a here ✌

I HOPE you're right but I'd be willing to bet you're wrong.

If he accidentally wins 8 or 9 this year (with that ****** *** schedule it's possible), watch in horror as the administration love fest with Golden will be the talk of the media.

We need losses in the worst possible way.

I'm convinced if we don't show up for games, the admin will fold the program and conveniently be able to blame the fans.

Seems like dropping football is their endgame.

At first glance you're post seems ridiculous but they sure are behaving like a group of people who stopped caring about this thing once known as a program a LONG TIME AGO.

The admin and the BOTs will not shut the program down, they love those ACC checks. Win and loses don't matter but $$$$ is all that keeps the program around.

I hate to say it in a way but..

team quits on golden halfway through 2nd game, wins 4 games all season and THEN.. the ACC in incredibly embarrassing fashion cuts miami from the conference

to this pathetic bunch of morons on top at UM, that would be excruciating

Probably the ACC wishes now that they'd taken U Conn, UCF, or Cincy even now. They got snookered by Donna and now have another Wake Forest without the academics or good reputation dragging their conference down even more. With U Conn they'd get another great Bb program. With UCF they'd get a rising football program with a stable coaching situation and a growing fan base.

We know that administration will never can him.

So how do we make him leave voluntarily? There's gotta be a way to make life so uncomfortable that he quits and goes away, right?

I'm not advocating doing anything illegal.

Just trying to think outside the box, here. What can we do to make Al leave our program alone?

Give him some candy.

ACC $ = football will not be dropped.

Shalala raised a billion dollars so that the university wouldn't need ACC $.

In response to OP's query, if we make them listen to OP's album until they leave, we can expect them to get gone by the end of the week.

I don't know how to make them go away. But if they go away, (&^^(*& fans like the OP will be sure to keep any good candidates from coming this way.

That's absurd, not related to sports. Football for now, basketball growing (again TV$) ACC$ support ALL U sports programs. Most of which spend but don't bring in $. Expect that baseball will also become a contributor due to TV and growing interest in NCAA baseball. The U admin has for the most part been supportive of sports programs, at times there have been disconnects (often due to scandals or perceptions thereof) - and a lack of administrative talent and savvy and of course internal politics. Just as important there is strong alumni support for sports programs - most alumni would not support dropping major sports AND most alumni support growing and improving academic and research functions as well.

From what I've seen the love in in Miami ended with the PSU flirtation. He's gone whether we win or we lose. I don't see our fans ever accepting him again and vice versa.
