I am getting tired of hearing all about these SoFl studs. They all stink Ivey Hall Blades Pope Carter Hightower Donaldson etc

Our best players last night were out of state players. Williams ,Dallas, Jordan, Osborn

If I have to hear another podcast about how great these players down here. I’m going to scream.

Yeah this supposed South Florida hotbed of “dawgs” and “South Florida speed” isn’t showing up at Miami. Those players must be going to the other schools.

Supposedly most of this Miami team was way more talented, faster, tougher, and grew up playing a more vicious and faster game than UNC players did.

I don’t think the suck, I do think they get overrated very quickly.

The so fla studs just aren't on this team. Trust me the talent level down here is amazing but Miami is just a laughing stock.

Love what Larry Blustein does, but I just don't see SoFl football like it once was. . . And was for years. Any SoFl coaches down there to give insight? I'm from Miami, but have lived away from there for years. Looks to me like GA talent is increasing and SoFl kids are getting softer overall. I'll take some *thug U* mentality, but do these guys even exist now in SoFl? I'm not saying we need thuggy kids off the field. I'm talking the need for true assassins on the field. Not 5-10 of them. 85 of them.

The best players from out of state are as good as the best players from south Florida. This is a broad generalization but from my experience is the players from out of state are more skilled at the game itself, while in the south especially south Florida the athletes are better. The entitlement, lack of discipline and work ethic from many down here is what keeps them from reaching potential. The ones that end up being studs can use their natural abilities and not get caught up in their own hype but continue to grind and improve skill wise

Exactly see Jerry Jeudy.

I wonder if South Florida is going through a little bit of what Texas went through in the 80s and early 90s. Press started hailing Texas HS football kids as heroes, movies were made, books were written, the good ones got handlers and treated like kings, the in state colleges had a run of horrible coaches, and before you knew it seemed like the stuff that made them special in the first place wasn’t there any more... at least not to the same degree.

Used to think of South Florida football kids as a tougher than tough breed.... and of course some still are, but wondering if the culture rotting is hurting the on field product some. There will always be Sony Michels and Amari Coopers and and Dalvin Cooks... its a ton of good genetics geographically piled on top of each other and bunching up on the same few teams,.... but wonder if there aren’t as many Trajan Bandys as there used to be.

Not saying that’s what it is, just wondering aloud. I don’t feel like we (our SoFla kids) appear very tough any more, or mentally different than anyone else. We’re just like every other 9-4 team.

Lmao there not duds. You just let DMoney hype them up and you had crazy expectations. Carter should be a striker. Blades and Ivey just need more experience but of course you thought they would just come out and be lock down corner lol. Use your eyes and your heads and stop letting ppl on this site hype you up.

This is not a one year thing. This has been going on for years. Look at teams from the past 5 to 10 years and they are filled with hyped up players from down here that just never develop.
