Not being retained =/= fired. Clearly, Enos has known he wasn't coming back for a while.

...but why Diaz kept Enos around for the bowl game...same with Rumph and anyone else that "won't be retained" is unclear. It seems silly to keep lame ducks around through the bowl season. I mean, look at the result of Enos' efforts in the game.

I guess it helps with the lack of buyout or something, but idk. Just seems silly.
