I hate hypotheticals in this case. It doesn’t matter. We are 10-2 with losses against Lousiville snd SMU. Any other other discussions about other records is a waste of time.

Yes, we beat teams that were ranked and a lot more respectable (UF) at the time we played them. Those wins was apart of the reason for us being ranked so high earlier in the season before losing

Yes. And if we coached to win the SMU game and were prepared at least a little for Louisville, we would be in.

No margin for error playing in the ACC or Big 12… that’s the reality.

If Louisville and SMU were brand name SEC/B1G teams such as LSU or Michigan… UM wouldn’t be penalized as much for losing to them.
