So close and yet so far....

I usually love @k9cane's out takes. But this is being a little overly critical and this isn't the spot to chose.

We know this isn't sustainable in terms of relying on our defense to get 6 turnovers and have 3 defensive TDs. But our defense took over for the night, wasn't like our offense was dog ****. Our offense really never got the chance to go out on the field given that the defense kept scoring. The last time we did this was back in 2000 against WVU. Needless to say, that was a pretty good team last time I checked.

Time to move on and focus on whipping FSU's ***.

First Downs:

UNC 24
Miami 14

If you try to spin that any way other than a major concern, you're fooling yourself. UNC is a bad team. Yes, the turnovers were fantastic. Love the exciting moments and the win. But at a fundamental level where we line up against the other team and run plays and vice versa, they had their way with us FAR FAR more than they should have given our talent disparity over them.

Did you actually watch the game? Just wondering.

Learn what you are watching and then come back. The oline in no way looked like a cluster fvck period. St. Louis looked bad on that one play

Agree. **** people on here amaze me. Dog **** OL?? How many sacks/ QB hurries did they give up?? 1

All-American safety Jaquan Johnson didn't play a single snap. And yet, not even Robert Knowles could help UNC tonight. That's how dominant this performance was.

Richt is starting to make the right decisions from Kosi to Spicer to relying on DJ more, but it does seem like this team gets careless with a big lead. Even though I’d rather every game be a blowout especially next week, I wanna see how this team responds to pressure situations with Kosi under center. Should be fun to watch. Kids a gamer

This is beyond dumb. You apparently didn't watch the game.

The OL is getting better, but our tackles are good for 3 to 4 whiffs a game and against a top 40 team I still don’t trust our group to win a trench war when it’s 3rd and 1.

It’s hard to rip the defense when they only allow 10 points, but at the same time, to any fan with a semblance of football IQ, the glaring holes in Mannys defense are still there and will get exploited.

I wanted to see more quick hitter and intermediate routes tonight. I don’t remember a single RB or TE screen and maybe 2 WR screens

Save it for FSU I guess. Go Canes

its a great win regardless to start conference play and don’t want to take away from it ... I don’t see this being an issue for our remainding schedule but I have to agree to be skeptical how manny Diaz’s defense play calling works out against one of the... to say our oline was dog schit May have been a big overreaction (been drinking my bad) but I’m just not satisfied with the combo on online we had I still think against this unc team we should’ve been more imposing on the oline that’s all

Pretty crazy honestly

I love How we blew out a team in conference and can acknowledge we still have things to work on

Now I will say I wanted Perry to pass a little bit more but that’s fine and it will come, he looks more than capable and has better accuracy than Rosier.this kid sees the game well and is showing great anticipation so far

That was incredibly accurate but looks like Brevin would've been the better option. Just needs more experience and coaching, he'll start to see more and more of the field. Still light years more ability than Rosier.
