So called pundits

What's funny is that the pundits seem to be saying "well it may take a minute for UM offense to gel and get going." However, UF has its back up RB, 2 new OTs, and 2 new WRs. Facing a defense that was better than UFs last year and upgraded at the DL.

I understand QB is the most important position. I get that we have a new QB, RB, Center, LG (kinda), and WR. However, Cam has been here since January. And before that, he was a proven starting QB playing at Oregon and at Washington and at Wisconsin. Damien Martinez is a proven RB. Sam Brown is a proven WR. Zach Carpenter is a proven Center.

Gaby brought this up on their latest pod. Comparing FSU portal to UM portal. Miami's portal has more proven players. It's not like we took Aiden Childes and are expecting him to go light up UF. Or we took Roydell Williams and expect him to go off for 100 yards. Or we took a WR from Wisconsin.

Another point in this tangent, none of these talking heads has mentioned LEADERSHIP. Look at this team. Look at the Camp videos. Look at how they answer questions in post practice sessions. Look at how they got together outside of conditioning and camp to continue to get better. This team has the LEADERS to go and handle the noise and adversity that'll happen on Saturday. Cam Ward. Damien Martinez. X. Arroyo. Bain. Mesidor. Kiko. Meesh. All them dudes are battled ******* tested.

I’m so aggrieved!

FSU was undefeated and we took a TF into Doark and did fine. Been ****tin Stadium isn't going to be anymore hostile than that game was last season. Our team is built to neutralize this advantage. Nothing shuts the crowd up faster than watching the home team get mowed over in the trenches.
Exactly. That FSU team was much better than this Gator team too. Anyone who thinks the road environment is somehow going to rattle our guys is just making assumptions without doing any homework

I had a small heart attack this AM after watching that clip. I was caught off guard and blown away that **** “cry harder *****” newheisel picked Florida.

Imagine being that butthurt over 20 years later. The boys went in deep on UW that day.
Yep - I never expect Neuheisel to pick the Canes after that beat down.

I think one poster said they have lost 3 straight at the Swamp coming into this game? Lol. So yeah, not understanding the mystique of the Swamp talk right now from the media

Scary aspect of Cam no one is talking about is that his qbr goes way down after 2.5 sec of time to throw. Is he really a guy who makes good decisions the longer he has the ball in his hands? Break downs show he can be prone to force balls in to coverage and some times lobs it up for grabs after extending plays. When the ball is out of his hands under 2.5 secs he makes better decisions. What will our offense really be...will we have a east west ball out quick type of pass game all year because of this?

I have been to a couple of games there under Napier. It will start out loud but the first sign of it going bad, they will shut up quickly and will only be thinking about singing Tom Petty.
we cant have the start we had against ATM last year. if you win the toss, get the ball first, and score 6 on the first drive. get their fans out of it early because if you fall behind early, that crowd is gonna be loud as **** the rest of the way. add that, this is the msot fans Cam Ward has played in front of in his career?

UFs stadium is louder, but if we go up early, we take the crowd out of it early. theyre not expecting a win. take any slim hope away early and we move.

This has been my point the entire time when arguing this game. UF took Cormani and Zandemela bloating their portal rating which in time may be very beneficial for their roster but they won’t play against us. Look at the composite talent rankings literally 11 of our starters aren’t in the ‘4 star’ designation including Cam, Damien, X, Anez, etc lol

btw, for everyone who praises Mertz, look how many passes he tried to throw past 20 yards.

Their starting RT is from San Diego St... he has to go against Bain every single play.. gtfo Lmaoo and I'm supposed to be impressed they pulled a DT from Penn?! Not Penn St! Penn! That's just a fat nerd.
