I didn't call any players dumb or unintelligent, I just said their players were more intelligent. They ran the offense that Mark Richt wants to run and they have less athletic players at almost every position.

Ya I seen a bunch of recruits with Wisky offers down in Florida just browsing around on 247. I am sure they try to get a bunch of south Florida kids most of the big schools do. I was just pointing out that their team isn't loaded with 3 stars from Florida and Miami actually has way more So Fla 3 stars and way more so fla 4 stars.

Because people hype up South Florida talent to a point where it’s annoying, and then these kids go out there and embarrass themselves on national TV time and again.

These kids in S Florida want to play their little hat games and troll everyone and act like divas during recruiting, then they get punked by a bunch of 2-star bratwurst eating white boys from Wisconsin.

Here’s the point...

If you talk a big game, you better back it up. Otherwise people will dog on you.
 
Paul Chryst knew Willis wasn't playing. He knew who Jaquan was. He knew who MJ was.

I doubt Richt could tell you a single thing about any one player on Wisconsin's defense.

We did not put up 169 offensive yards due to player intelligence.

Wisconsin was motivated and ready to play and win tonight ..... Miami wasn't. End of story
 
Wisconsin is bigger, stronger, more physical, more intelligent and most importantly they have an ongoing plug and play mentality based on sound concepts. Straight ahead power football wins as long as you are serious about it. Power football lends to smart resourceful football.

If you decide to line up and run off tackle after nothing but wimpy shotgun play fakes, the world is going to laugh at you if you can't understand why your little play didn't work.

Canes fans want to believe a spread style offense would produce nothing but galloping touchdowns. They can't imagine any other possibility. So no kidding the same flawed mindset can't imagine that a midwest team can line up and relentlessly push us around.

The notion that South Florida kids are so far superior and therefore we are entitled to dominance and championships is the reason for ongoing denial, and desperate attempts to blame Donna Shalala.

If the Canes had evolved as a power based offense in the early '80s and maintained that tradition throughout, there would be far less drop off from era to era and year to year. Instead we became known as Quarterback U. It seemed awesome at the time but it was always fragile. Alabama can lose Tua and merely go back to what they were doing previously, winning titles based on physical superiority and caretaker quarterbacks.

Why y’all psychoanalysis this garbage! It’s simple! We have a clown for a coach! Even with all 5 stars across the board he would have us getting curb stumped! No need to disect this any further!

They have a better coaching staff and program than we do and have for quite some time. I mean they own us in bowl games. Donna Shalala has to be proud.

They are just a bad bad match up for what we do. They have been doing the SAME thing for like 20 years...Literally. We slant and move our dline around alot on d...their oline just walls us out of the way and runs counters.

Our offense is seriously stagnant and stationary..which helps their defense that runs alot of zone and crowds the line. They literally know where our plays are going similar to me sitting on my couch knowing how to stop our offense as a casual fan

But our defense--going back to JJ--has always done that. We try to compensate against more physical offenses to make enough big plays--TFLs, sacks, TO's--we typically have not been able to be more physical.

That's why better production on offense can force an opponent to pass more to catch up. And because we generally were less physical than opposing defenses we relied on the passing attack as the "great equalizer" (Schnellenberger's term) to negate the physical superiority of the defense.

On both sides of the ball, we sought to overcome physical superiority--we could not win by "leaning."

If we could pass the defense can't bunch and crowd the LOS. If we could pass, and maybe go ahead, maybe they have to pass more. And their physyical advantage in the running game is gone. And we tee off on mediocre QB Coan.

Power football doesn't always win. Go back and read Schnellenberger's statements on how the passing game is the great equalizer. If we had good QBs, and a sophisticated passing attack, Wisconsin's physical superiority is reduced if not eliminated.

The abomination I saw last night was the worst performance by Miami QBs ever.

Rosier is an imposter at QB--maybe he should be an HB or something else, I don't know what. And Perry--whom everyone here (except me) thought was the anointed one--is a flakey immature kid.

If he doesn't grow up very quickly--he should be encouraged to transfer. Maybe he should go to Bethune Cookman or something.

All his immaturity remind me of that **** NW QB Jacory Harris with his **** pimp cup which he wanted to take with him to the Heisman events. (One good game and stupid media described him as Heisman candidate.) That whole MNW vaunted class brought in exactly one decent player: Sean Spence.

What a bunch of overrated losers: Streeter, Aldarius, Jacorey, that DT Forston.

Getting sick of some of these entitled and disappointing people.

Perry seems to be in line with some of these past players.

When Jim Kelly was learning to play QB his QB coach Earl Morral used to tell him when your receivers are covered "throw it to your girlfriend in the stands." So what do Rosier and Perry do but hit the guy in the numbers--the guy being a Wisconsin DB.

What the **** is a pimp cup....and still waiting for N'kosi to turn up in the amateur section of Pornhub.

They have better and more physical OLs.

Why we adopted the Schnellenberger philosophy of the pro passing attack as the great equalizer. Go back and read it somewhere. We were never really built for power running attacks in South Florida. We don't have that kind of talent here. We have a lot of overweight kids in South Florida raised on high calorie, high carbohydrate soul food.

They should reduce him to an office analyst and hire a true OC.

Richt Sr. will be miserable to have his family enterprise broken up but as a consolation his wife can be retained as Senior Hydration Manager. Maybe even juice up her title a bit and call her Senior Manager of Hydration Technologies.

He will be even more miserable if he is forced to give up play calling.

When his nephew spurned him that should have been the early warning that something is seriously wrong.

I'm sure Mark believes in himself and firmly believes that he knows a lot and can do it, but the proof is in the pudding...and the pudding doesn't taste good.
 
Dogging Streeter for getting in Randy's doghouse over 1 incident when he was a frosh. He black balled him man. Overrated??? He was our best receiver and everybody questioned why he didn't play for 4 years. Who knows how he could have developed but he stuck around here so I got respect for Streeter. Richt and Shannon have that in common. They like yes men.
