100% and we’re killing Mario and Dawson for this (and rightfully so) but they did throw the ball on 2nd down and Chaney caught it and just ran directly out of bounds and limped to the bench. Can’t stay healthy. If that’s Parrish or Fletcher in the game at that point they turn up the field and get a first down and maybe it’s 21-14 or more at the half instead of 21-20.

Fletcher ran away from open holes last week just to be tackled. None of these backs are great yet, they are inconsistent, bot Fletcher us a freshman and Chaney is just coming back from 2 years of injury. They will both be better next year. As will Citizen. Chaney and Fletcher have each been our best RB in different games, just need them to be great on a more consistent basis, IMO

yea but if you notice, fletcher is aware of where is feet are. I chaney made a bad mishap for a kid who's been at this level a long time.
 
That's your opinion and you are entitled to that. I don't see it that way at all. Maybe the third best running back on the team

two things I was told about chaney coming out of hs.
He is injury prone and he doesn't LOVE football. He wants to go into medical.

If Fletcher is growing, just work on getting CJ more touches. Its time to move on from the Manny guys.
Injury or not, Chaney could have limped for the first down. I appreciate he stills wants to play the game but his body just won't let
it happen.
 
Fletcher is playing the best of any RB right now. He’s just too inconsistent. He was great in Raleigh, was awful last week, and great again yesterday. Even when Chaney is playing well like last week, he can’t stay on the field. But he’s also very inconsistent.

Truth is we don’t have one guy who brings it every week. For everything Parrish lacks physically, he was that guy. I guess he’s just another one of those Miami injuries, who is to never be heard from again.

we have fletcher who's a true freshman. I want to see him with another year of S&C. everyone says hes slow but hes not getting chased down.

I think Parrish was our best back early on.

Fletcher has the highest ceiling of anyone to be a 3 down back. But like I said he’s too inconsistent. He’s gonna be fine and I think he’s gonna be the real deal in the future. And yes I mentioned Parrish, who isn’t as talented, but he was reliable every week.

We desperately need a game changer. CJJ needs to see the field. Give home a chance to show you if he can be that guy. And I’m in favor of getting Riley into the rotation next year. He looks like a big time back.
