Anyone know how many snaps Blount got at DE vs DT vs DT in pass rush?
Idk bout pure pass situation what the allignment was, Stanford had 28 total dropbacks. But obviously all pass plays aren't like pure 3rd down situations. I'd still suspect Blount is almost always inside on expected pass rush situations, and Over the tackle in more expected run situations.

Surprised we don’t use Bain in the B gap at all. Also feel like I’d use Moten the way they use Blay and vice versa.

But I’m not there everyday and don’t get paid to do this.

Toure and Poyser looked awful. Bauman pathetic. Bonner bouncing off running backs. Marion dropping balls left and right. Brockermeyer manhandled. Team looked half asleep for 2.25 quarters. OL play is uninspiring. Playcalling uninspiring. If the coaches can't get the team up to play in what is now single elimination, then what the **** are we doing?
Poyser has never looked awful in any game this season. Cut your eyes out.

Teams do go at him but to the kid credit he competes. He probably gets targeted the most out of all the cbs and he might give up a catch or 2 but he will turn around and break up a pass or 2 when needed
lol @ a catch or two ..OJ is getting picked on out there …when the other team needs a play they going right at him

I’m not surprised, given he’s been completely dominant at pure Edge for us

Tough to say someone's getting picked on when the defense is 16th in the country in completion percentage allowed and 12th in the country in yards per attempt allowed.

The craziest part of this play is that it is technically a pancake (I think) as his man ended up on the ground.

Doesn’t mean you cant try something different and give different looks. See if you can create a matchup where he can penetrate the run or blow up the pocket more quickly than he does lining up off the tackle.
Dosagree. There is Literally zero need. Especially with Mesidor out.

I mean if you're literally talking every once in a while... Sure. But then what you want Pickett and Lightfoot outside? Or just instead of Mesidor inside on the NASCAR package flip him and Bain? Or are you just saying both Mesidor/Bain inside? Moten and Blount have been better than Pickett... And unless they are chipping Bain (which helps out LBs who have struggled in coverage) it's easier to double team inside than outside. So seems to be the benefits of Bain outside are extremely high. We have more guys that can be inside on rush situations than outside.
