SMUs top 10 to replace DC

Who are we kidding... Even if SMU was stupid enough to hire Baker Manny still wouldn’t go out & hire a legit DC/LB coach.

He would just make Patke the DC/LB coach & bring Rumph back on field as Strikers/ST’s coach.

Or he would elevate one of the QC/Analysts like Jesse Byrd or Jake Swalley.

Only thing we can hope for is that Trob becomes DC in title only and we go out and hire someone to fill the LB role as a quality coach or a quality recruiter

I refuse to believe Manny is THAT F@*!ing blind that he can't see what we see.

What I do believe is Manny still feels HE is the guy to fix the problem. So he's going to waste the year believing he can be both HC and DC, and at the end of another 9-3 / 8-4 season with 2-3 of those losses due to the defense, he's going to go out and hire a real DC.

That doesn't explain keeping Baker.
