I've been looking forward to this game since it was announced. I'm a native Dallasite, grew up near the SMU campus and my mother is an alum. I can't wait to watch this team beat the brakes off of SMU. You'd think they would know Rule#1: NEVER invite Miami when you want to honor something...

I think it was more of a timing thing with GT. Usually, you want to have Homecoming in late October/early November, hence why FSU has been homecoming multiple times over the last twenty years. I think SMU is in a similar boat, we are right on the cusp between October and November...
