SMU game time?

I think it's a space issue, and there very well could be 100+ tickets sold. They are setting up on the Boulevard and the third party company SMU partners with is handling things. Revel XP
 
It’s probably gonna be a 7PM prime time. Miami’s bed carrying ACC viewership the past two seasons. Conference needs that game.
 
Right now on paper next week and that could change of course depending upon the weekend there are not a lot of top 25 verse top 25 matchups additionally. the one that exists that I believe will still happen is at Tennessee and college game day has already been to Tennessee this season

This might be one of their weekends where if SMU doesn’t lose this weekend, which I think they might, that game day goes to Dallas because SMU is one of only four or five schools in division one p4 at least that have not hosted game day ever and there’s a good enough chance they could be ranked at six and two. Even if they are not ranked, it’s still a good possible opportunity to have one of their annual games at a new location.

That could still mean a noon game, but it could mean a 7 o’clock game too even if Herbie doesn’t do the game

Just my guess of course, but I'd go with Oklahoma-Tennessee as the ABC 8:00 pm game; Virginia-Cal as the ESPN 2 7:00 pm game or another 10:30 start on ESPN; ND vs. BC as the ESPN 7:30 game; South Carolina vs. Miss at 12:40 on ABC; Miami vs. SMU at noon on ABC; Ga Tech vs. NC State at noon on ESPN. Cincy-Utah, Texas Tech-Kansas State, iowa State-Arizona State and UCF-Baylor also could be on ESPN/ESPN2/FS1, but FS1 has their early game, so I would go with Texas Tech vs. K State at 3:30 on ESPN, Cincy vs. Utah on ESPN 2 at 7 or maybe ESPN2 at 12:30, and the other B12 games on FS 1. And again, these are nothing more than (somewhat) educated speculation.
 
This game is the season. Curious to see what kind or team shows up, what kind of coaching we do. I know Rhett gonna unload the clip for this game. Sad that I do not believe we have staff creative enough to surprise a team and create an advantage. We seem content to be flat footed and have to adjust to another team. its never us being different and stressing our opponents.

That's horrible. How in the world are they allowed into a Power conference with that toyasss little stadium? (Well technically they're not, they're in the ACC)


Any truth to the rumor that this stadium has no stairs? I heard its because the namesake would have posthumously fallen down them. #OldGuyHumor

Oddly, stadium is named after a different Gerald Ford.

wouldnt mind 12 or 330. i have a 7 am flight out on sunday. 12 or 330 would allow me to a good dallas dinner sat night.
 
a packed 32k stadium will not look any different on TV than any other game...
