I posted this in another thread but belive it deserves a stats thread:

Malachi Toney

  • Returns: 4 returns for 41 yards [1]

Not showing his TD and 2 point passes

Copied a headline:

After doing Horns Down, Jeremiah Smith proceded to drop a crucial 3rd down pass and another wide open one.

Yet Toney still zero drops in 2 years, the defended pass against Pitt was not considered a catchable pass and Toney has caught what looks like uncatchable passes

Punt Returns: Smith has logged 2 career punt returns for a total of -6 yards

Kickoff Returns: Smith has no recorded kickoff returns in his college career.

No, Jeremiah Smith does not have any official passing statistics or completed passes in his standard college football box scores

Toney’s stats would be much much higher. But he sat out a lot of second halves and was used as a decoy while injured. I don’t think he’s been fully healthy for 3-4 games this year. We all know he’s better than smith and there is not a single thing that Smith does better on a football field. He’s just big. But if you watch smith. He pushes off almost every single catch he makes. Never gets called

I would like to once again thank the ACC refs for ******** Mali over. In such a tight race for the Heisman he lost two touchdowns at a minimum. Well done ACC. Once again great job protecting your own brand.
