As much vitriol that as spit at bandwagon and fairweather fans, they make up a large portion of attendance at any sporting event. If the administration are making the right moves that bring in fairweather fans (the lowest common denominator) then they are doing something right.

That being said, even the hardcore fans can get tired of a ****** product. Unlike the NFL where the ****** teams get first pick, a college team can remain consistently ******. I for one will not be attending as many games as I have in the past because of how crappy I feel the program is being run. I'm not in SF. I live in Atlanta. So I would prefer to add that extra money saved to my kids 529 instead of shelling out for airfare, hotel, tickets, food, etc. just to possibly watch the doors get blown off my team.
 
Our stadium half full holds about as many people as Papa John's Pizzeria Stadium full capacity. Just sayin'.

Jeez, you guys have sticks up your butt. He's trying to recruit. It's his job; it's business. And besides, I actually laughed and shook my head when I saw his tweet.

I can handle you living far and not being able but when bad teams across the nation both collegiate and professional fill up stadiums or at the very least close to 80% its bigger than wins and losses its cowards to ashamed to stand behind their team and ill never be that way i grew up svreaming for miami they are a big part of my childhood and adulthood i will always be a cane al golden will not just like tge guys before and after him those guys who suit up for and put miami on their back both past and present they are the ones i give my money to not shalala not golden. So when yall neg me for my response remember this if nobody body goes to the show theres no show to watch and ill always be at the U games.

Louisville owns us...then kicks our *** after the tweet..they can say what they want. If offered a ga position here..lamar would drop the ville...no qualms about it....its his sellin point in recruiting to fla guys....

Sorry, I love Lamar, and he has a job to do. But you don't have to be an above par tool about it. Just a normal tool. He went way out of his way here. To the point of exposing his butt hurt.

I just don't get the hate. The man is earning a paycheck. This is why these guys are getting jobs. Do any of you honestly think him being from S FL and being a former U player had nothing to do with his being hired? Honestly, it doesnt matter where any of these former players go, their main job will be to recruit against us, not trim from the edges. Bottom line is if we don't want those guys recruiting against us, HIRE THEM! If they can be of use at Ark, UL, or any other place they've gone, surely they can be of use here.

I just want to say to those who are saying it's his job so on and so forth. I agree he has a job to do, but you don't have to embarass us and go over the top, there are plenty of assistants who played at the U that don't go to that level ie, Hurtt, Shannon, and Cristobal. If he says this in private I honestly don't care but on social media it's a little classless.

On a professional level, it's never good business to troll or burn bridges with your Alma mater...

With that said, people are only going to be loyal to where their paychecks come from.
 
Sure he has a job to do. Did you like it when Butch or Urban would lie to Miami kids, or talk about getting killed on the Miami campus? There is a way to recruit with integrity and there is a way to do it the way Urban does. Lamar is an ***. He posted that picture on his protected Louisville account that recruits see but not a lot of Miami fans have access to. But quite a few did hear about it and he deleted it pretty fast. He knew he was crossing the line and playing the odds he wouldn't get too much flak over it. ***** him and ban his *** from the campus.

Unfortunately the UL fans saved it and ran with it.

Funny thing is that picture is from a spring game and he used UL pic when they played us. Well of course their stadium is gonna look full. First home game vs us... let's see what the stadium looks like when the had their spring game.

maybe he should tweet about 9 dropped passes his corps had when they lost to UVA last week. He should spend more time coaching and less tweeting about our stadium.
 
I know our programs been down and a lot of "new" fans are happy to win 9 games and have fun, but you got a real problem up top if you're ok with us.

You don't publicly trash the school that made you. You don't bash the U like that. That's sacred. Ex players voicing their frustration is different. They want this thing to get back on track. This house n:gga just turned his back on what made him like it was nothing. He's as bltch made as they come.

"I made fun of my own school's attendance, are ya proud of me Mista Petrino? Thank yah sir"
