Smallest home crowd since 2012

The truth is its less and less fun to the point of becomming a chore for people to go

I don't miss home games and I even travel to away games from time to time. I think that makes me a genuine fan of this team. But I cannot convince myself of a good reason to keep going to these games.

I was there last night and it felt like I was going to visit my grandmother in her care facility. I don't get joy out of being there but it feels like something you have to do. It's tough to visit someone in their final days who used to be full of life, diminished and a shell of what they once were. You look for that spark, hoping you can get a few moments of that feeling back, that it will be like old times, but it never comes.

I don't blame someone for not wanting to experience that feeling by choice.

Its sad that people post stuff like this. Worry about yourself, go to games if you enjoy it and keep living. The truth is its less and less fun to the point of becomming a chore for people to go
I go when I can. I live in Nebraska now. They fill their stadium with 90k every weekend and they suck bad bad bad we should easily be able to fill a 65k stadium but we don’t

Everyone goes when they can or want to. There are no awards for going and no one who matters in your life GAF.
Spend time with those you cherish doing things you love......and stop caring what other people do/dont do

I’m impressed that 15-20k people went. Even if we assume 4 for every player; 85x4=340, plus 4 for every UVA player, that’s still only 680 people who went to support a son playing. Throw in cheerleader families and we are up to 1000 people.
Anyone else is a True fan.
My brother is autistic and doesn’t know the difference in winning an losing. He really likes the games so only reason I really went. I wish I could upload a Video I have bc it is the least amount of people I have seen in awhile. Also no Virginia fans were at the game where the other team usually travels pretty well.

When we are good people go to games. Don’t think there was an open seat for notre dame a couple year ago. Now these are no like college games like I was used to when I went to university of South Carolina where every student went no matter what. Seems more like a pro game where locals who love the team show up more than the college kids

The game was poorly attended … and that was expected … but think about it how many people enjoy attending open casket funerals

LOL, it costs more to get into Traz Powell for a HS game:

Typical away crowd for UVA...i.e., they never bring any away support.

That’s hard to give up tickets after 30+ years. But thank you as it maybe the only way to drive home the message about a poorly run athletic department.
it kills me not being at the games, use to purchase a cluster of 11: but I think giving this institution 15 years to get it right is more than fair. Good Grief I went through a period we didn't lose a game at home for 58 straight games. Great times

It's true. Unless you've been there, you can't really understand what the atmosphere has been like.

The anger is palpable and even decent sequences of plays are met with mostly disinterest.

I think everyone knew we'd blow the FG.
Yep. I was there last night. Just from talking to people in the Green lot I knew it was going to be bad with the boos.

most of us don’t live in South Florida. You guys are blessed. 5 bucks to take in a game? I get parking suxand is expensive, but still I’d go if I lived down there.
flyin in like I used to for games? No more until something happens.

go canes!
Yea I live in bama and flew in for the game, and had plans to go to more, but I won’t be until he’s fired. I will be at UNC to hopefully see the end of the Diaz error.
