Thanks for the reminder of how awful that stadium is for college football. I almost forgot how terrible that place looks.

That's a great point. After I buy my 2016 season tickets, I'm gonna go invest some more of my hard earned money into companies like Circuit City and Bennigans.

I'll be flying a banner over Kmart....that'll show em.

He is a good recruiter. Just not a good fit for Miami.

How can a person look at our depth chart and then look around the country right now and honestly say Al Golden is a good recruiter?

If he was winning we'd have a top 8 class every year....he's a good salesman just a ****ty on field coach. Not that it's saying much but he's better than Randy was...at least the next coach won't have completely bare cupboards.

Golden didn't have a completely bare cupboard.
That's a flat out lie.

Good benefits? Must suck to work for Blake

This is a 10-win team with an above-average coach. Miami is better than every ACC team except for Clemson and FSU. The guys he missed on 5-star types went to better programs (except for Alex Collins)

And why aren't we better than Clemson and FSU. (in terms of talent) Recruiting perhaps?

I'm not even worried about the 5-star types" that he missed out on, I'm worried about the good players that he didn't even recruit/offer as well as the scrubs that he did sign. (who usually end up transferring out)

Part of being a good recruiter is evaluating talent. He's god awful at that.

Dude, the next coach will have a worse roster than Golden inherited.

Golden inherited NFL linebackers, NFL running backs, NFL receivers and an O-line where 4/5 of the starters were NFL draft picks. (3 out of those 4 are NFL starters)

This roster does NOT have that right now.

You said "good" recruiter. Not trying to nitpick here ...he's obviously deficient in many areas but he's still a decent recruiter. Evaluator, i agree he's horrible.

THIS. We would be fine at running back if we had a guy like London for solid depth. If we had Fabian Moreau (I know that's sore spot with Macho), Rashard Fenton, etc. we would have a much better secondary. If we had James Burgess and Skai Moore we'd be much better off at linebacker.

I'll give you the offense was decent but look at the defense and try not to throw up in your mouth a little....seriously. Outside of Vernon and Spence it's ******* sad and there's no defending it whatsoever.

Part of being a good recruiter is evaluating talent

1. Clemson has won the Orange Bowl twice.
2. FSU national champs in 2013 beat Miami ON THE FIELD head-to-head 6 times in a row.
3. Talent evaluation is a little different than recruiting. FSU has some blue-chips that were busts (Kain Daub & MT6)

Yeah, that is pretty bad.

So, ok, the next coach will definitely have more talent on defense than Golden inherited. I'll give you that for sure.

The team is worse than when he took over. I don't see 3 NFL tight ends, 5 NFL wideouts and 4 NFL running backs either committed or on roster like when Al took over. Let's not even mention the online talent.

I counted 8 players that were on NFL rosters for at least 3 years. That's enough talent. Do we even have that, now? 4 or 5 of the dlinemen were on NFL teams. How many did Boston College have? Maryland? UVA?

Nobody should care about Golden at this point.

It's three failed hires in a row.

That is a structural/organizational problem.

Plain and simple.

Exactly Ghandi.. I have zero confidence that Miami cares about putting a winning product on the field. The hurricanes as we know them are dead. I'm not upset ... I've learned a long time ago.. Nothing lasts forever.

There wasnt much fans 2 years ago when we was 7-0 either lets be real

Then people cant believe why we only pay 2.2 million for a coach and cant afford there buyouts lol
