How does this happen? You got slow *** coal shovelers all over the field, no gamebreakers. Gorlden's wet dream of turning us into Iowa is complete.

That's what happens when you have a scrub coach from the big ten coaching at Miami. The man doesn't know how to win big games! He should just pack his bags and coach a a high school team in New Jersey.

What else would you end up with when the head coach is obsessive about guys putting on weight. he called a Miami linebacker "fast" and the guy ran a 4.7.

Nah I think we were considerably slower in 2006 and 2007.

We don't have a lot of speed at WR, but Yearby, Walton, and Gray all have burst.

Defensively we have track guys like Artie and Corn out there, but the passive, soft defense makes them look slow.

I had the same reaction on how slow we looked last night - especially on O. I am not sure Yearby and Walton have that much burst - I know, Yearby had a massive night last night however some of the Dline on FAU looked like O Lineman - they couldnt move. And I have said it all off season - the WR's are all average --- all of them.

The next 5 weeks will expose the above

Miami under Swasey is either fast and tiny/weak.....Or big and slow.

The fact that after 15 years this piece of trash ****roach still remains is all the evidence you need that this athletic department is a complete and total joke.

This has to be the slowest Miami team I have ever seen. Cant think of any game breakers(coley lost his mojo). Even the 97 team gad some speed....Benton, moss, and starks....good lord

Just rewatched the game (I know it was painful). That is one badly coached team. There is talent on the team, it's just masked by how horrible the coaching is. I'm with the guy above. If something doesn't drastically change, we are in for a 4-5 win season. 3rd down conversion on O is atrocious. I'm so sick of Folden saying it's something we have to improve. When the F*** are we going to see some improvement!!! Its year 5!!!!

You think the players are slow because of how badly positioned and aligned they are, especially on defense. They look slow because theyre too far out of position to begin with.

Same as offense. Route tree doesnt allow any use of the players lateral quickness. How often do we run crosses or pick routes? Nothing but wr screens and 15 yard slow developing routes.

yall putting too much doubt in the players ability because of the coaching. chill the fugg out.

So coley and waters slow?

Don't know. We only ever use them on bubble screens that get blown up 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage.

Will say Waters was getting zero seperation from FAU defensive backs on those crossing routes. Which makes you think.

There is enough talent on this team to win the coastal. The D is behind the 8 ball before the ball is snapped. 5 years of Doritos has instilled a read and react style.

I've talked to clinton portis several times about Swasey.. I'll take his word over anything you ever post.

Front 7 is really slow. Especially when we have our front 4 (including Harris) all running in the 5.0 range.

We used to pride ourselves on having some of the fastest LB's in the nation.

I'm not sure why Gorlden and Dorito are so insistent on going away from that speed advantage.
