Slow Times at Spartan Invitational

Let’s just post our own personal achievements here.....no one gives a flying ****.

I can accept 10.8, the problem is that there are different understandings of what 10.8 is.

  • A. “I ran 10.8” - athlete ran 10.81 FAT but says “10.8” when it should be represented as “10.81” (or “10.8x” - if you can’t remember the time to the 1/100th).
  • B. “I ran 10.8” - athlete ran 10.81h but says “10.8” when it should be 10.9 (all hand times are rounded UP to the nearest tenth.)
If it falls under “b”, not only is it a 10.9h but it’s a 11.14c (converted hand time) - a difference of over 3m, and more than .3, on the track.

For football I accept that it’s a hand time that way I can make like comparisons, unless it specifically says “laser”, then I’ll make some adjustments.

I don’t care how you represent the time just clarify HOW it was timed.

10.8 is a very good high school time.

It was laser time because it was the county championships(I took 5th in the race) Top 4 runners ran at Nebraska, South Carolina, jumped for Florida, and ran at SUNY-Binghamton.
