Slow News Day: What Gets Taggert Fired Year 2?

Uncle Willie is a lot better coach than people give him credit for. The best leaders surround themselves with smart people and then take all the credit. 48 Laws type sh*t.

Yeah he’s done a great job of that. 0 bowl wins and 4 losing seasons in 9 years as a head coach but hey he hired a guy that message boarders are obsessed with.

He was about to get fired at usf until winky emerged and saved him

USF moving down to the AAC helped as well. Easy to build against garbage comp but he still never won the conference even while having more talent than everyone else.

I want Al golden Jr there as long as possib

I want him to stay as long as possible because he's garbage. Unfortunately, he's going to have to win at least 8 games to keep his job. Pretty much every FSU fan I know can't stand the guy. They hadn't had a losing season in like 40 years before Willie got there.

What is that reason? Culture change? When does his record begin to correlate to his ability... 150 games, 200? It's one thing to improve Western Kentucky, it's another to build a championship P5 program, ask Folden
Fla. State and their minions (dip****s) are not W. Kentucky, or even Oregon....he will find out as we did that Temple is not Miami. I agree

If he goes 7-5, he keeps his job for another year. 6-6 or worse and he's probably done-zo! Please win 7 games, Willie!!!

USF didn't "move down". The basketball only schools in the Big East left and they took their conference name with them. All they did was change the name of the conference to AAC.

It's still lower comp. After all the expansion and the better programs getting scooped up and forming today's Power 5 they should have owned that conference but they still never managed to even play in the conference championship. While UCF came through and took over that conference. As one of the few left over from the Big East I thought they would roll but they left their biggest rival who they owned prior to the AAC forming to become too dog in the conference. All of that started with Taggart ****ting the bed his first couple years there.

Nah gotta give him another year before you fire him that would be a bad look ... even though he’s a horrendous coach

Yeah but the power programs had pretty much all moved to other conferences by the time USF joined the Big East. It was watered down already. I'm pretty sure Rutgers won a conference title somewhere along the way.

Honestly I think they want him gone no matter what, it'd depend on the buyout more than his record IMHO
