This game like the last will come down to whether the early holding calls are made on their oline blocking our dline especially Garvin, Hill and Rousseau. FSU was called for two early and it changed the complexity of the game. If a team is forced to block our defensive line legally, we eat and the game is over for them offensively. The dline is having fun and beaming with confidence, they all left the bench and went crazy after Wiggin’s TD catch, they couldn’t wait to retake the field.

With Louisville’s offense and Flowe and Harrell visiting, we need the appropriate and warranted holding calls to be made early and often. This is a huge game.

The early holding call is a weekly and historic key to victory for any Canes defense.

Opposing linemen are going to get away with everything they can until something is called. May just be my imagination but it seems like our guys are doing a better job of selling holds to the officials this year, making it even more difficult for them to ignore.

Our defense is going to dominate everyone left on our schedule. It’s going to be on Enos to score the points.

I do think Enos can be good here but we will never hit our full potential as an offense as long as he’s our OC and we are running that scheme. He doesn’t use J Dubs mobility as a weapon so the numbers are never going to be in our favor.

yep, noticed that and wondering where have those calls been all this time? But they were welcomed to finally see.

Rofl, after that wiggins td, them boys wanted more blood, and shaq and pickney got some real good shots in on they qb's, they made hornbrook suffer for that bowl game. But you're right, and that has been the key in most of our loses when coach richt was here, it was real obvious in that first wisconsin bowl game which is why coach richt went ballistic cause he knew the fix was in. The funny thing about this Great point you brought up, the reason they made the calls in the 1st place because it was Fsu, they figured Fsu didnt need help. They normally dont make to many calls when we play unless Fsu is considered a championship caliber team and they dont want us to derail em. Against the gaytors though, the refs showed their true secskin colors!

No one was probably more shocked than Hornibrook to see those holds get called. Last time he played the Canes the refs swallowed the whistle and allowed his O Line to get the DL in a headlock on just about every snap.

Yeah, it makes a difference.

That's deep. But I like it.

If Refs have are explicitly and/or implicitly biased against the Canes, does it follow that police officers can be explicitly and/or implicitly biased against certain types of citizens?
Yes, the Canes are the ni$$&rs (unsavory, malcontent, innately ignorant and bad) of college football to many.

On point 🎯🎯🎯🎯
Those calls prove that FSU is out of favor with the college football landscape/community prevailing sentiment. Kirk Herbstreit’s comments drive that point home even more.

Kinda like UM defenders are so thugged out and athletically gifted that they deserve to be held.
