2 LB's that Golden thought were too small. Man would our LB core look better with them playing.

His size theory infuriates me to no end. It's the singular stupidest thing he's done while at Miami. Literally ignoring boatloads of ballers because they don't fit his fat Jersey stereotype. Ugh, hate this man so much.

"It is no longer okay to be a 208-pound linebacker at the University of Miami."

If Butch was here, Skai would've been here....fact.

"Grace>Moore btw"

What's the point of that?
How about Grace and Moore together is even better.

I don't disagree with the last sentence but the point is for all the Moore talk on these boards I'd still prefer Grace if forced to choose. The problem was Grohlden and Doritos starting Cornileus & Armbrister for years cause Grace was "too small", but that problem is gone and now the LBs are Grace/Kirby/Owens which is fine, and Gayot could be a solid nickel guy as well. Moore would be a slight upgrade on Kirby and the depth is thin (for more reasons than passing on Moore) but oh well, there have been MUCH bigger recruiting mistakes by this staff.

Aside from a few plugged-in guys on this board there just hasn't been enough appreciation for how good Grace is, mainly because the defense is run by reactive 2-gap dinosaurs.

Fair enough.

I concur.

Our best LB right now is an undersized kid. LOL

If we still recruited "the Miami way" we would have an absurd amount of speed at Linebacker. Burgess, Moore, Grace, Talan, etc.

Regardless of whether or not Matthew Thomas was better he was a take. Didn't we take figueroa that year. Lol

Butch lost tons of recruits did people just start following miami football butch got his *** kicked by bowden

he got reed and wayne from Louisiana, Daryl Jones from texas, dj williams, clement, covington, Dorsey etc all from out west. no florida kids wanted to go
to UM because of the issues there.

I can't blame the staff on losing skai. blame NCAA more. i mean 6 was considered a top LB, can't miss, etc. they held two spots while self imposing. they were
for grace and 6. no doubt if they didnt have NCAA they would have gone after Moore. i mean i dont want golden here anymore but lets be fair.

now all he says is lean and speed. more explosive. i mean it takes 5 years to figure this out? its almost like he didnt know what to do with miami talent.

Butch evals were great like you said he would get 2-3* guys from out of state and many instate that were pros

But these idiots think butch had south florida locked down that was simply not the case bowden destroyed butch in s fla recruiting

thats true. Butch was jimmy's recruiting guy. butch traveled the nation, knew talent. he didnt rely on these recruiting sites. his job was so much harder than golden. he had no program left when he took over.

Dude looks pretty good. You don't have to be a high school position coach to figure that out.

Lotta haters in here.

if not for ncaa thing he would have had an offer. they were holding for grace and 6. i think 6 was obvious he wanted to go elsewhere but u never know what happened behind scenes. 6 went to fsu then decided he wanted to leave for USC. kid is a headcase

6 also never cared for the staff. You still recruit Moore... The staff was still signing people after NSD so I can't give them a pass...

BS, they could've dropped Lockley for Moore.
You mean to tell me the staff didn't know Lockley was gonna be an academic casualty?
Also, sanctions weren't handed down yet, I find it hard to believe that they couldn't go over their "hard cap" by 1 player.
