Size of 2016 class

We have 16 commits, with 5 enrolling early with those scholarships counting to last year. So how many do we end up signing this year? Or do we sign a smaller class and go with a huge one next year?

24-25 this year, 26-28 next year and a good chance for a top 3 class

Because of the 5 EEs we should be able to take 30 total. The current roster doesn't have nearly that much room though, and its a little late in the process to grab another 14 croots anyway. I could see us taking in the low 20s and then a much bigger class next year with a full year of recruiting for richt.

u are allowed 25 per year. but counting ee's toward year prior u can get up to 30 plus. then there is the gray shirt players. the ones they sign with intent to gray shirt them for a yr. i don't know if richt does this but was a common thing in sec.

so we have 5 ee's u count them toward last year. then add 25 u can actually have 30. its all about math. and fudging it i think. that is how u get classes at 33 or higher.

Well if you discount the 5 EE who will be counting towards last class, we still have more than ten spots open. I doubt Richt will be able to get 2 or 3 more let alone anywhere need the amount to have a filled out class.

I think it is fair to say that this will be a somewhat small class and Richt will cast a wider net next year under his regime.
 
16 commits now with a few shaky. Seems kind of hard to think we'll get another 10-15 to commit within the next three weeks imo. Think it may be a small Class this time
 
Thanks for the clarification, makes since to count as many as we can to last years class, plus they get a head start on college life with a FB schedule
 
It's not the size of the class but the motion in the ocean, pal. Swag16 is all about girth.
