Six holding calls all season

been this way since the 80s. just that we always had enough talent to over come it.
ohio state 2002? getting passedover in 2000? the ND cleveland gary call? it will never stop. we got put on probation for steak dinners when you had a clemson TE say
on national tv in a post game interview they give him alot of money

If I recall correctly, only ONE of those six holding calls was on an opposing O lineman holding on our D line. ONE!

The rest were tight ends and WR's holding down field against us.

Someone please correct me if my stat is wrong but I believe the holding call in the Wisconsin game was the only one called on an opposing O lineman.

Should be investigated

That's what I think, but by whom? This was not an ACC game, it was inter-conference. I they they were SEC officials, so maybe they expecting bags (just joking....kinda).

Which conference, if any, would care?

NCAA? Get outa here! Emmert=Comey of college football.

The media? Who? Degnan?

Nobody cares about UM outside of UM fans. Nobody cares about injustice against UM.

Peter Ariz should report it and turn it into a headline. He got some juice to bring sone attention to this bs so it doesnt happen again.

Big Ten gets left out of the playoffs, then they go 6-0 in bowls. Every team they played is complaining about holding calls not getting called.

Could it be suspicious? Idk.

I know this much....refs do favor certain teams. Between 2007 and 2016, Alabama only averaged ONE holding call FOR EVERY THREE games played. Now maybe Alabama OL are just much more disciplined and intelligent than ours, or something else is going on...

Interesting, these stats. Where do they come from? Or they verifiable?

Doesn't seem like Peter's thing to be an investigative reporter to push an expose but maybe I'm wrong. It takes a certain kind of journalist to do that. Peter's thing seems to be something else. He's excellent at what he does.

ESPN was wetting themselves when Wisky lost to Ohio State. they wanted bama in so bad.

That is a crazy stat.

Sorry when playing team that specializes in sacks and TFL that is logically IMPOSSIBLE! The Problem is that there are way too many old guys officiating these games. Period. Many of these refs can't see past their specialized eye glasses.

problem isnt age. we are consistently, i mean every game on side of horrible calls. even my non-miami fan friends joke.

Well, that probably made our two DTs stats very depressed and hurt their draft ranking. Maybe we get them another year because of it.
