Udeh was a defensive stopper as well. He consistently made winning plays, and you could count on him to eat minutes, a rarity for physical bigs. People fall in love with PPG, ignoring that you can't win without winning players, who may not be pure scorers.

Sure, his defense presence was fine, and important. But ... imo, it was his rebounding that was the most important aspect of his contributions.
As you say, his ppg were a bonus.

Not a question of payback, it is a tough assignment for any front court. If Florida gets better and consistent guard play, they are going to be difficult to beat by anyone. I like Miller to get a lot of time against them. Hopefully the Russian can contribute. Really be interested how Gaskins competes. Rarely do you see a veteran front court as talented filled with 4th and 5th years stay together. Really looking forward to this one.

I would expect with the new 5 to play 5 he will play when he is ready. Not rushed back but if he can help out he will play
