We're going to have a season this fall like the first UM season I remember in 1963. That year George Mira was throwing the ball all over the field all thru every game. Half were dropped because the receivers sucked. When we did score, the opposing team would just roll down the field and promptly score again. The defense could not stop anyone. The kicker sucked so bad he actually kicked the ball behind himself on one occasion. It was a disaster. Am going to feel awful for Kaaya (as I did Mira) with the few decent receivers he'll have (that will draw double coverage every game) and with Golden's terrible defensive scheme. As I have seen this movie before, I'm not watching any games this season. I know what's coming. If we win four games it will be a miracle.

If you think things are toxic now, you ain't seen nothing yet. Just hope and pray some freshmen step up or that the new president gets sick of the furor and cans Al's butt after the fourth or fifth game. That's our only two hopes.

I'll gladly take your apology after next season is over. The only thing that has ever been consistent about our BOT is their unwillingness to separate with a few bucks for the betterment of the football program. If it were for those few dollars we'd have a new coach and staff right now. Just a hunch but I think I'm right.

Rooting for an al golden coached team is of no consequence to me anymore. I simply won't do it.

Sure I'll tune into games this fall and if the Canes are in it, I'll watch and hope the Canes win, but I will put zero emotional investment or financial investment for that matter into this team or program. Im actually to the point where I may cancel my spring trip for a Canes baseball series because of al golden....More to the point, because of blake james.

Yes and no to this comment. I think when you go 6-7 with a good team, then it's time to kick rocks, not so much with what certain players are saying. Each situation is unique.

I have been on many teams where players hated the coach or didn't respect them. I have been on undefeated teams where I would walk past a coach and he wouldn't say hello. Some coaches just have their own styles and relationships with their players. I just hate the NBA style of team where the players have the power and if the players don't like a coach, the coach can get fired.

At the end of the day, players want to follow a winner or a great leader. Golden hasn't proven he is either.
