Since it does appear that we are stuck with Diaz one more season: what can he do to succeed in 2020?

Waiting until 2021 to fire Manny is horrible planning. We could have someone like Mario Cristobal RIGHT NOW if we wanted to.

If we wait until 2021, who are we gonna get??

Here's the scenario: Nick Saban will retire, Tom Herman, Scott Frost, Clay Helton, Chip Kelly, etc are all on the hot seat.

So in 2021, Miami could potentially be competing with Alabama, Texas, Nebraska, Southern Cal, UCLA, etc for head coaches and, just as importantly, assistants.

And you know in that scenario, we get the scraps.

Whereas right now, the market would favor us.

Just fire him now and make the needed changes right away. Dragging it out is stupid.

I beg to differ. Nebraska recently EXTENDED that OVERRATED Frosty BOY's contract. He now has five more years to make Nebraska AVERAGE and what not. In other words, there's a strong distinct possibility that Nebraska has ANOTHER LOSING season in 2020. Yet good ol' boy small town boy Frost will NOT BE FIRED!

Also, Lord Saban WON'T retire after the 2020 season. Because Saban has the HEART of a man in his early forties and what not. Chit, Lord Saban doesn't even LOOK his AGE. hUh

Nevertheless, nice try Cane dude. hUh.

1. Hire an OC who can get the team into the top 50 in most offensive categories

2. Get Borregales from FIU as a grad transfer

If both of those things happen, Miami wins the coastal rather easily next season. It’s honestly as simple as that.

I heard that same tune all summer long going into the recent completed season. And that was with question marks about QB and the O-line.

No sir Cane dude. Miami will have a very difficult time finishing 7-5 next season!! OUCH.

For example, both UAB and Temple are coming off winning seasons, and both have A LOT of returning starters to rely on. Then there's the FACT that both HC's of UAB and Temple are GREATER than Diaz! If U Know What I Mean.

Even though Michigan St. is crappy and all that. D'antonio is the GREATER game day HC than your boy Diaz. Yikes. And that game is in East Lansing. Thankfully it's not scheduled in the month of November.:ttdg2m10mxvzxan.jpg: Then there's the usual Coastal teams with FSU's new HC being the GREATER head coach than Diaz.

Nevertheless, playing the positive note. Just maybe Miami can CONVINCE the OC from SMU to migrate down to South Florida, and just maybe Perry can EXCEL in a new offensive system. And who knows. Perhaps the two freshmen and two sophomore offensive linemen will IMPROVE going into another season in Thee Gables.

Would be beyond shocked if Lashlee doesn’t check box 1. Now work on box 2.

i think there’s too many things to fix. On top of poor coaching and motivating, this team has a serious culture issue. Players dancing when they’re getting destroyed, posting highlights after they lose. You can really tell they don’t give a **** about winning.
