and worries about firing Golden because we have to keep our highly-rated classes intact, here's a look at how the talent stacks up for Saturday:

Arkansas State:


Average Rivals ranking of last 5 recruiting classes: 92nd

- 4 of the 5 classes ranked 80th or worse





Miami:


Average Rivals ranking of last 5 recruiting classes: 18th

- 4 of the 5 classes ranked in the top 20

If anyone was curios, Louisville's last 5 classes averaged a rank of 42nd.

- No top 25 classes
- 4 of the 5 classes ranked 40th or worse




I hope this is enough of a talent disparity to enjoy a comfortable win on Saturday. Unfortunately, talent means nothing if it's not well-coached.

The statistics are so clear and indisputable that the only logical conclusion is the people who support this staff AND admin are either delusional or in denial. They have nothing but excuses and false hope. Yet they are visceral in their defending the undefendable.

Do those rankings include the 25+ kids no longer on the rooster?

Do you think we are the only team to lose players? Do you think other teams always have full recruiting classes. I did a player by player look last year about Duke after they spanked us. They sign on average 20 players per year and they are getting smart kids, because lets not act like Duke isn't a smart kids school. Over 4 years that's 80 players. Over the last 4 years we signed about 98. Even if we put that down by 25, that puts us at 7 less players than Duke overall. Consider the majority of those 25 are nobodies except maybe 4-5 who actually would have contributed. Duke seems to be doing just fine with less players.

This has to be one of the stupidest posts I've ever seen. Petrino didn't do anything that hurt the school. He was just banging some chick. Why wouldn't another team hire him.

Coker never did anything wrong and got hired at a school that never had a ******* football program before.

Leach is your only legitimate argument and his situation didn't get Texas Tech in trouble so much as it just got him fired.

Butch was in the middle of a big NCAA investigation that lasted a long *** time just like ours and involve multiple 1st round talent players who were suspended from school all year. Other schools don't want that.

If Randy was/is such a great DC, why won't anybody else hire him?

One stupid post followed by another. The difference between Randy's situation and Butch's is extremely different. Take away the NCAA investigation and he'd still be at UNC making us his *****. Take away the NCAA investigation and Butch would be able to go nearly anywhere he wants. How much you want to bet he'd probably be at Texas right now.
