I remember when @Coach Macho posted about Blount when Mario got here. He came to one of our big recruiting events and if I remember correctly he thought Miami was the perfect spot that he didnt need anything else. But now FSU winning and Blount talking funny . Not that he will go there... but this is my point exactly. Prison Mike can turn into a force if he continues to produce results while we lag.

Your restatement of what I said isn't accurate. I didn't say that I think Cristobal won't be successful or that I don't believe in him. I can't form an opinion yet because 5-7 is just one data point.

He built an outstanding Oregon team. 12 wins. But then the 4-3 season (with the back to back losses to 1 loss teams). But he followed it up with a strong 10-4 season. But then a 5-7 season at UM (which wasnt just bad, it was one of the worst coached seasons in school history).

I just don't know if he is closer to the 5-7 coach we saw last year, or if he is closer to the 12 win coach we saw at Oregon. TAMU will tell me a lot.

You want to win recruiting battles in the 24 class? It starts Saturday with. win. They wont flip/
come if we keep losing. Not after what FSU just did with JJ and Mccray watching. Eventually you run out of excuses. Fact of the Matter is,
Colorado, FSU will be that much tougher to recruit against for guys we all want if we lose next week.

I think some of you are too fixated on FSU (aka *****-hole envy). One win, no matter against who, is not going to move the needle, unless it's a late season meaningful win, (conference championship, bowl win, playoff win, etc.). I know it's Captain Obvious time, but we play only one opponent each week, focus on that and turn around 5-7.

FSU, Clemson and UNC are on our schedule so there's plenty of time for "big wins".

Besides what's the point of a win up in Tallahassee if we ***** the bed elsewhere (remember the ending of the 2017 season when we had our last "signature" win).

Yea that’s a direct shot at us. There are a couple FSU staffers doing everything they can to **** in Miami towards recruits and I don’t blame them.

Obviously we don’t have much ammo to fore back with until we win.

That a why this year is so pivotal. If FSU continues to smoke people they will land Smith and a few other big time guys.

He was a 16 year old kid on one of his first visits.
Recruiting is fluid.
