Seen this show before.

Mack needs this win, Mack knows how to beat Manny. Manny needs this win, Manny knows how to fold to Mack.

Canes are 3-5 in Chapel Hill since joining the ACC and all three wins (2011, 2013 and 2017) were dogfights.

This team doesn't look to have too much fight in it.

Can the Canes win? Sure. Will the football gods let it happen? Doubtful.

Miami has been snakebitten at North Carolina since Connor Barth sailed that game-winning kick through the uprights in 2004 for that 31-28 upset that saved Carl Torbush's job.
 
This is a tough one. It wouldn't surprise me to see Miami cover and it also wouldn't surprise me to see Miami lose by 20+.

My gut says Mack ends Manny but not putting any large amount on that.
 
Outcome depends on which team is more committed to quitting on their coach.
Two lousy teams but Mack is still a better coach though.
 
They love smearing The U. It will be thrown upside down all afternoon Saturday. Sad but true. Mack Brown takes this game very personal. Manny really worked him over at some point

I have no idea what to expect here. UNC sucks, but we suck worse. There isn’t an outcome that would surprise me. I could see us getting blown out, winning a close game, or anything in between.

They're wishy washy.. but we'll get their best coming off an embarrassing L at home.

How priceless would it be to see Mack's seat get hot by having us come in and beat them?

0-11? That's incredible. I can see him losing to the Bowden teams, but losing to the current Noles teams?
 
I can't stand UNC. I couldn't stand Fedora and now Mack Brown. I hate that they throw down the U. I still think Manny gets fired with poor losses I just hope it's not against UNC or FSU. It would be nice to spank them.

The previous losses to FSU were when they had a 14 year streak of top 4 rankings. This was an FSU team that lost to Jacksonville State.

I think there's nothing he can to save his job now. All he can hope for is to minimize the damage and save a little face so he can gracefully move on to a different position, hopefully not here as the AD though.
 
Is Sam Howell still inconsistent or has he reined that in? If he has then its lights out for us. Any QB with an IQ over 60 and a decent arm can pick us apart without mercy.
 
The book has made this a trap game. Canes rarely cover, come out in a stupor after a bye week, have many issues on both sides of the ball and although a conference game both teams are tanking.
