The weekend National vs American bowl had 4 Canes -- McCloud, J Williams, Ford and D Johnson. McCloud and Williams impressed.
McCloud was playing all over, SDE, OLB, MLB. On the last series he was super deep and dropping back every snap. Weird, but for whatever reason it worked. He played great, even scooped a fumble for a 9 yard return. J Williams was at guard and in on the vast majority of plays. Not sure why his MO was he was too weak. He played fine in the interior. Led the way for the game winning TD run through his gap. Neither will be All Pros. But I believe both make teams or practice squads.
Ford was also out there a lot but was a space eater, didn't make any plays. Deandre didn't see much action and was not a big factor.
......... I just started watching the East-West. Missed most of the first quarter so if anyone had a Canes sighting please post.
