Curious, as well. I was never impressed with his ability but surprised he hasn’t landed anywhere.

I doubt Payton is a hot commodity considering that he "retired" from football temporarily this year. That is bit of a red flag to most schools.

If Manny had stayed he'd likely been one of the guys to leave.
With it looking like we could be changing the scheme up I'd like to see him used as a pass rusher type, Add about 15-20 pounds and have him play olb. Coming off the edge on pass downs. That's always been his strength. His HS film at de was impressive.
