Mario at Miami is a bigger ceiling , he knows what this place is capable of. He’s seen it up close. Dude is a beast recruiter that fits in perfect with these kids , dropping a great recruiting HC in South Fla is like dropping Rosie O’Donnell in a never ending buffet.

On top of that this is home , for him and his wife. This is where their families are and where they’ve always wanted to end up at. He would’ve left three years, without hesitation. Now it will be harder and more expensive but I wouldn’t be shocked if it happened. In typical Miami fashion they’d wait until the guy is one of the hottest coaches in the country.

I agree with all everything you said. I just think it’s a big gamble. He could be God if it goes right or he can be back to being an o-line coach if it goes like the last how many ever bozo’s we had. Very high risk high reward. I do think it’s time for a hardass coach tho. We tried every other flavor.

Great, and then he has to follow that up with about 9 or 10 more games just like that -- thats what real programs and coaches expect. That's the job he asked for. The standard is the standard

not playing slip-and-slide with the players after 5 point wins at home vs mediocre teams

Crib, my only concern in terms of going after Mario is that Im told there are some harsh feelings on his end about getting snubbed twice by his alma mater

It’s funny it’s take a video by Roman for people to really see the light..

Forget about the team playing a compete game..
When was the last time we saw a singe unit play great game or he’ll even a position group? This team has been cheeks since 2017 ND.

It’s all coaching. You see how sound APP state plays with scrubs that no1 recruits? App state has to recruit with like 10 other schools instate. They get the scraps and coach em up hard.

We are a joke. Manny is already on the hot seat.

If he loses to FSU he is done

It may happen tomorrow, but there is absolutely no evidence to believe he will do that consistently in the ACC. Even with our garbage schedule.

But can a coach who is so concerned about being liked, coax his players to give him a bit more?

The stuff Im hearing about the way we practice and approach football is alarming. It's why Ive dubbed him 'the Nanny'.

If what you say is true about practice then he won’t last much longer. In fact, MSU is not a team (I can’t believe I’m saying this) we should take lightly. They may not our talent but they are playing pretty well.

The inevitable is coming. My only concern is that it occurs this year rather than in 3 years but I know he doesn’t last that long.

Manny is in hot water with a some people that you don’t want to be in hot water with at Miami. I’ll repeat what I said other day “ if this goes off the rails they’ll pull the plug during the season“. So when I mention the importance of this game i‘m not over selling it.

What we’ve seen here on his watch is unacceptable , theres no excuse for getting out coached most weeks.

Manny is a lipsy, journeyman DC that had zero business getting his 1st P5 HC job here. If Manny is getting the plug pulled on him, then I better see that bytch made ninja that made all this happen, including allowing Richt to hire his incompetent son to coach the QBs & paying Temple $4 to get Diaz to coach here, gone too. THIS IS 100% on Blake. If the plug gets pulled, we all need to see him part of that firing package.

Maybe not fran drescher, but if UM plays a complete game and wins convincingly I can picture manny post game speech to the team going something like sally field’s oscar speech
