Lawyers who made 20 billion in damages payoffs... donated 30 million to put their names on the U of Texas scoreboard...

... now all that matters is if their names were in the Book of Life.

Come on. We're talking about lawyers, here . . .

That's like expecting Television Evangelists. Or politicians.

They were most likely class action/mass tort attorneys, and most definitely plaintiff’s attorneys.

But right now they were all just people; fathers, mothers, kids, friends, siblings. I don’t know anything more about them, but this is very much a tragedy for the many family members who will be in mourning for a long time. Lives have been altered forever.

The only thing I want to add is that i hate these small planes. I know everyone loves flying private because of the luxury and time saved, but I don’t think I ever will if given the opportunity.

For heaven's sake! Let's just put this in perspective for a moment.

1. There's more Lawyers going to heaven jokes than the law allows.
2. I don't wish for what some could call premature deaths - but at the end of the day - many folks consider every death - premature. Went too soon. Died too young.

3. That same day - there were hundreds of violent deaths across this nation - car wrecks, murders, accidents, and disease and injuries.

Just because these died in a plane crash - and just because some were attorneys or their wives - that doesn't make them special, somehow.

The other Americans that died were also special - but guess what? That's everyone's final event. Death. It's pretty common.

Death is not exactly a taboo subject that comes up rarely - it's all around us.

So everyone should adjust their sack - and drive on.

As long as you can. (Which won't be long.)

Surprise!
