Not surprised at the outrage of Lott named over Ed. But, nonsense to the thought Lott couldn’t have played in today’s game. He had 63 career interceptions, won 4 SBs, 8X All-Pro, 10X Pro Bowl, 2X led NFL in interceptions. Played CB his first five seasons.

And yes, he was a big hitter as well.

And, he told Ed that Ed was the greatest safety of all time.

I could more easily accept LT over Ray (although this list has LT as an edge, which makes sense) than Lott over Reed.

Reed was the GOAT safety. Full stop.
