I like the way he handled the question about the OL. Built them up instead of taking the opportunity to tear them down.

I've found that the way a QB and RB talk about the OL is a good measure of how good a teammate they are and how cohesive the offense is.
 
Jarren was who I hoped we had gone to last year when Rosier was ineffective and Nkosi was mistake prone. Don't know if I was right last year and hope I was now but UF game with a young Oline for us will certainly be a daunting task.

If Jarren plays well and we win the Gator game then holy crap, we are on our way. If he loses but plays well, ditto. If we lose and he plays poorly then we are probably right where we should expect with a poor Oline by experience and a tough defense that we were facing. The last thing we need is a merry-go-round at QB this year, Jarren needs an honest shot at this thing and that includes many starts after UF.

Enos knows what he is doing, when you have someone experienced developing the QB we should be patient but should also see improvement over time. The most distinguishing feature of the last offensive staff was that players did not improve, were not put in situations to succeed, and in many cases got worse no doubt because they got discouraged.

I remember even in Dorsey's last year they got him going each game the same way as in the beginning, nice easy short passes to build confidence during each game, just to get him comfortable and then they would start opening it up. Dorsey was not inexperienced by then but with all those weapons it is tempting to go for the homerun every time. Sans the 2001 FSU game and probably the PSU game that year as well, Dorsey started off with high percentage throws and then worked his way to Andre Johnson in the end. It was a luxury then, but Jarren needs to feel confident and then release the hounds as the speed and talent at the skill positions has not been this good since the Dorsey days, but our Oline is a little suspect.

Some people have voices that allow them to enunciate clearly and don't use a lot of "um" and "you know". They also present their thoughts in a non-rambling, concise manner.

Williams speaks well. Gaynor speaks well. Diaz doesn't always.
