Very brief synopsis:

- Describes how Kaaya must become more of a vocal leader in year two (didn't think he could be a leader as a true freshman);

- Insight into changing personnel packages and concepts this year to combat the year's worth of tape defensive coordinators have on him now;

- Interesting details on his recruitment and how much it meant to him that Miami was his first offer when all the other schools eventually came around.

Very proud to have this young man as QB for our program. We will go as far as he takes us this year.

One of the very few bright spots currently surrounding the program. I wish he would have a better group of coaches that would allow for the team, collectively, to excel at a high level.

Kaaya led team to TD in his FIRST career drive on Monday night national TV against team that embarrassed the crap out of us the year before. Then he did same thing in NE. With a frigging coaching staff that had any sense of how to play defense, kid goes into FSU game undefeated and with that is undisputed leader or the team. He then probably smacks defending champs in the private parts for both halves. To cry that the 18 year old who scored first drive of his Miami career leadership if another sin Al will have to answer for in front of St Peter. Anyone remember Kosar's first game as a redshirt freshman? Difference was Bernie had Howard and Brad has to carry fat Al and his boyfriend. It is sad that we now have a real Miami caliber QB and a couple decent DT and go 6-7. Larry could have done better.

I remember his growth from a HS junior to his senior year leading his team to the Cali State Championship....I know the best is yet to come at the "U", just based on that 365 year exploooooosion...

Anyone read the comments section?

Kaaya is one of the main reasons we should all be excited. It's his and Deshaun Watson's league for the next three years and they could very well face each other each year in the ACC Championship for the next three years. OF course though, we have that big question mark. Really would just like to see us win again man.

So lucky to have him... Ans if he improves his pocket awareness he could be one of the best.
