Is a QB change on the horizon in Coral Gables, or is there...

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I didn't see it anywhere. I don't pay for The Athletic, so I couldn't read much of the article, but maybe someone can summarize it if they care to.

This was all I needed to read get my ulcers flaring up:
"Malik Rosier isn't one of those athletes who put on a face and pretends not to hear "the noise". When boos rained down last Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium after he threw an incomplete pass behind an open receiver early in the game, the fifth-year senior went back to the Miami Hurricanes bench and "kind of laughed" about it.

Would you prefer him to cry? I mean, we're talking about Malik here. 8 of 12 (67%) 3 TDs and 0 INTs is a pretty **** good day for him in just over a quarter of work. I'd have been laughing at the boo birds too.
 
Doesn't surprise me.. for better or worse, he is stone cold to outside pressure. On the road against FSU it was badass, but when he laughs off our own fanbase, it feels like a punch in the balls.
 
I don't know if this was discussed before but in his post-game response to the boos, he referred to something richt told him about "They don't boo nobodies" and that made him more comfortable with the negative response. This guy understands he's not Tom Brady and jeered for reasons unrelated to envy, right?

Yeah there is a big difference from Brady getting booed when he goes to play the Jets at their house as oppose to Patriot fans booing him...
 
But no indignation about the ongoing absence of the linebackers in pass defense. Seems to be a greater vulnerability

Told y’all that quote other day meant nothing, we rolling with Rosier until he hits the 30 completion percentage. Maybe.

It wouldn't bother me if he gave a fvck about being the starting QB for the University of Miami. Not asking him to pretend, or to feel any which way about anything. Just give a flying fvck.

And seriously? This quote was about him missing a wide open receiver early in the game and going back to the bench laughing about getting booed. Not laughing about getting booed after throwing a TD pass to go up 21-0. Dude took nearly an entire quarter to put up 7 points on possibly the worst team in Div 1. Our first two drives were: 2 plays, 1 yard, fumble; and 3 plays, 5 yards, punt. We finally scored on our third drive, where it took 8 plays to go 31 yards. Malik's completed passes on that drive were 7 yards to Homer, 9 yards to Gray, and 2 yards to Mallory for the TD. WOW, really blowing the doors off there, Malik.

EDIT: Here's a link to the play-by-play. Rosier threw one nice ball to a "high school open" JT for the long score. Aside from that, he dumped it off to RB's and TE or WR screens. Savannah State vs. Miami - Play-By-Play - September 8, 2018 - ESPN

So no, I'm not asking the dude to curl up and cry, but it'd be nice if he got ****ed instead of laughing it off like being the QB at UM is just a joke and there are no expectations or pressure. Just ******* care, Malik.

I really don't care if he laughs it off or not. He came out and pumped up the crowd at Doak and was a legend. All that matters is results. If he wants to be stoic and low key and improve his passer rating, I'm here for it. Otherwise, idgaf

He also said this.

“I think Coach (Mark) Richt hit it on the head when he told me this summer, ‘This Miami team is your team. You’re the CEO. If it goes good or bad, it’s going to be on you.’ That’s kind of how I’ve taken the approach. I know some of the guys have kind of gotten mad at the fans and their comments, but it’s my job. At the end of the day, the offense is only going to be as good as I am. And I feel like the better I get, the better the offense is going to get. It’s something I have to take on my back.

There was also this in the article. You have to be kidding me.
