You make a good point but there are some facts that are being omitted.

Perception : If healthy all season, Miami would be a NCAA bubble team.

Reality: It Miami used all of its scholarships and played the freshman earlier then Miami would have won some of those games they lost and be a ranked team. Some of our loses were due to a lack of depth, not a lack of talent.

Miami should have a better record.

If the result of each game was your pre game prediction we would be undefeated and most games would have been double digit margins
