The idea of him considering UF much less going there just seems weird.

His Frank Gore and Sean T stories were good as well.

A most revealing comment was by DJ. Paraphrasing here, but he basically said that the past great Miami teams will never be replicated. The game has changed dramatically on and off the field and this generation of Canes will have to chart their own course. Agree 1000%.

Cool story. Trell used to date a girl that grew up with us. She came from a Cuban family with money, and lived in a huge mansion off old cutler road in pine crest. I remember meeting him once at her place and he was still in high school, probably around 16/17 at the time. Had no idea until years later that was him .

Yea this had to be before that. He was real young when I first met him, maybe 16? He definitely didn’t have no kids at the time. The girl he used to date had a younger sister that was even finer than her, lol. She was all over me ; but I was a bit older and she was too young at that time. The good ol days

I watched the whole interview, I did not know the only reason Shady didn’t come to Miami is because we stopped recruiting him, just shows how much our coaching sucked
